Sasquatch Captured on Video in Mission, BC?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on July 30th, 2013

It has been the stuff of legends for as long as hikers have been traipsing through the wilderness.

But whether you believe this figure caught on camera by hikers in the Canadian wilderness is actually the legendary Bigfoot, or just a man in an ape suit, is all a matter of opinion.

Either way the sighting of the figure, which appears covered in thick black hair and is seen lumbering across the mountain top, has sparked plenty of excitement among Bigfoot fans.

In the footage the figure walks from the trees into the open, pausing briefly before disappearing back into the trees.

It remains unclear exactly where the video was shot but it is believed to have been filmed on a trail near Mission, in British Columbia.

After putting out a request for sightings of Legends, we’ve narrowed down the submissions to two, this is one of them. This is amazing!

A couple were hiking on a logging road above one of the lakes in Mission, BC, when taking photos of the scenic views they spotted something moving. Even though they were a fair distance away they were still able to zoom in enough to see something standing upright. Bear? Man? Something else?LegendTracker

This is the same youtube user who posted this video: Sasquatch Caught on Video by Chinese Tourists.

Looks like they have an app that adds Bigfoot to video footage… Hmmm…

    1. Too far away to discern any important details…ok.

    2. Figure moves very much like a human being…oh oh.

    3. Same video supplier as the “Chinese Tourists” video…hoax.

Although I don’t think it’s in use with this clip but the very, fact that this group is fooling around with an app that can add a Bigfoot image to their visuals tells me all I need to know.

They will soon change their sig and try more ambitious attempts of Bigfake footage..

video is too short and too far away for you to make anything out.

it definitely is something walking and alive… other than that, i highly doubt anyone with any degree of accuracy can say what it is without being full of shit.

you’d have to go to that exact spot…. from the camera shot and from where the thing is…. and do a height comparison to even know if its a human or not by height.

  3. cryptokellie responds:

Again, be aware that this video is posted by LegendTracker. No more need be said. They are also advertising an app that adds a Bigfoot image to your footage. Exercise due diligence here dear Cryptomundians…

Photos and vids, you just can’t trust anymore. C-Kellie–spot on–with an app that adds a sasquatch to your vid…other than speculation all you can do is be over skeptical of any video unless there’s some serious proof within the video that rules out hoax…and then, well, that’s about as rare as running into the real thing.

  5. alan borky responds:

Craig to go by the exaggerated almost wild movements particularly the clumsy Patty/John Cleese Ministry of Silly Walks style stride pattern during the descending sequence this’s either an out an out hoax where the bloke playing the Sasquatch’s hamming away like some silent movie star because he knows the camera’s so far away…

…or some stoner comin’ down an’ startin’ to get nasty.

  6. Goodfoot responds:

I firmly believe the Chinese footage is a rank fake. The first one is less certain. As for that app, I looked into it a bit, and I think the “Bigfoot” it adds is MUCH fakier looking than the first video here. It’s the lowest of the low, as far as obviously-fake images go.

I will download it and investigate some more, but I don’t believe it can make something even as sketchy as that first video.
