Radford’s Top Ten Reasons Bigfoot’s a Bust

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 19th, 2011

Is the legend of Bigfoot (a.k.a. Sasquatch) little more than a stubborn myth? For the dirt on the doubters, Discovery News contacted Benjamin Radford, managing editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine, who was more than happy to rattle off the top 10 reasons Bigfoot is bogus.

Boggy Creek: Legend Is True

When we last spoke about the new Boggy Creek film here on Cryptomundo, Thrilling Return to “Boggy Creek”?, we had mentioned the DVD release date of September 13, 2011.

Well, somehow that date came and went with no hoopla here on Cryptomundo.

Well let me make that right, right her, right now…

Camera Traps and Bigfoot

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 14th, 2011

Over the last century the global population has more than tripled, forests have been felled like never before, and even the most remote places have had scientists poking about. Today tourists have relatively easy access to parts of the Amazon and the central Asian forests, not to mention the forests of North America, so how could such a large animal avoid discovery? Cryptozoologists have a common response: they argue that these hominids are incredibly elusive and shy, which is why they have so long avoided detection. The primates are masters at avoiding humans, say believers.

Lair of the Giant Kraken Discovered

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 12th, 2011

A paleontologist has discovered what he believes to be the lair of an ancient, real-life kraken.

The Kraken, as you may be aware, is a giant, octopus-like sea creature of myth, capable of dragging entire ships to the bottom of the ocean. Kids will probably tell you that Bill Nighy used one to put the screws to Johnny Depp not too long ago. But paleontologist Mark McMenamin believes that a real live kraken may have one day roamed the depths, albeit a little further back in history than is generally thought.

Tree Climbing Bigfoot Caught on Video?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on October 11th, 2011

We share the possibility that it may have been a Bigfoot that was captured on video. Big difference.
