Biscardi Alert: Back To Illinois

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on June 14th, 2006

Reports today out of Peoria, IL are that Tom Biscardi and crew have returned to Funks Grove, IL.

Tom Biscardi

Tom Biscardi points to a tree he believes was pulled down by Bigfoot.

He said he’s getting closer and closer to finding the creature.

He even has a hand he thinks could be from a bigfoot.

"It’s my life, my life being I wont rest until conclusive evidence of a fallen creature is brought back," said Biscardi.

A Bigfoot hand, huh? Would that be Bighand?

  1. jayman responds:

A hand? Is he kidding? Does he mean a handprint?

  2. LordofShades responds:

A Bigfoot hand? I don’t suppose it came it came from his captured Bigfoot? This guy is like a case of herpes, you’re never sure where or when he’ll show up, but it’s inevitable that he will.

  3. larzker responds:

He THINKS the branch was pulled down by a “bigfoot”, he THINKS he MAY have a “bigfoot” hand. Is his evidence based on his imagination?

  4. furryfinger responds:

a hand of bigfoot? somewhere out there there is a old man cursing the sun with only one fist.

  5. Jack D. responds:

Every Spring, I clean up limb damage on my property just like that shown. Haven’t seen a Bigfoot, but he seems come around during snow, ice and wind storms. I’ve been blaming mother nature, but now I know better.

  6. BBatts66 responds:

A Bigfoot hand?? Thanks Tom, I’m sure the material is very credible. What’s the cost to see it on the website?

    THIS GUY IS JOKE!!!!

  7. Illuvatar responds:

I wonder if there’s any expeditions that are actually a serious search for Bigfoot. I’ve been looking at BFRO online but their expeditions look a bit more like a vacation than a serious search for the truth. This Biscardi guy like BBatts said is just a joke.

  8. Jeremy_Wells responds:

Hurry, hurry, step right up and see the Amazing Alligator woman. She walks, she talks, she crawls on her belly like a reptile does!
(sorry, “…cost to see it on the website” brought it out of me!)

But, oh no, musn’t test the genetic material of the Bigfoot hand.

  9. greywolf responds:

Where did this hand come from? A zoo or Vet. where dead animals were disposed of or a cemetary…..hope they did not dig up uncle Henry!

  10. snake5007 responds:

I bet he broke that branch,i bet that it’s his hand. Wait a minute,is he a clean shaven bigfoot?

  11. DivaJ69 responds:

I say let’s all give him a hand!

    ;o)

  12. Mfdcapt4 responds:

Now come on folks, let’s give Ol’ Tom the benefit of doubt,,, Like I doubt trees get broken by the wind, and I doubt misterious hairy hands can come from anything but giant bipedal unknown creatures….. Oh, I’m sorry, sarcasm is not my strong suit. Where’s the hand Tom???

  13. stonelk responds:

I would like to send Tom to Afghanistan to search for the cryptid known as Osama.

  14. harleyb responds:

hey maybe it was all a clever ploy by Mr.Mobius and Biscardi to get Broofies get it bigfoot groupies cool.

  15. Nad responds:

Is that the guy who was wearing the gorilla suit?

  16. Mfdcapt4 responds:

Was Tom recently in Oklahoma or Ohio,,,, Hmmmmm?

  17. Mfdcapt4 responds:

Oh wait Tom, pull my Bigfoot finger…

  18. Lesley responds:

How does this guy find people who still support his research? Every time he says something it turns out to be a lie. It would be funny if he wasn’t taking advantage of people.

  19. twblack responds:

As I once said a sucker born every minute and they have a president of their club Mr. Tom Biscardi. I think he needs a hand to point him to the liars club of America. A BF hand come on. And then he has newspapers reporting what he is saying and doing what a joke they must think crypto people are. I hope they know there are serious researchers out there also. But you know what? He will probably, and only by dumb luck, be the one to find the real BF and get all the credit. Would that be a hoot or what? OH WELL TO EACH IS OWN I GUESS!!

  20. Mike Smith responds:

All I can say is he must have a lot of people fooled. How is he able to go all over the U.S. Is he rich or are alot of folks really giving this clown money? Does anyone know?

  21. Loren Coleman responds:

For an image of this alleged Bigfoot hand, see Hand of Bigfoot.

  22. kamoeba responds:

Just for the record, Funks Grove is actually a few miles south of Bloomington, Illinois (where I live) about 50 miles from Peoria.

  23. Mnynames responds:

If HE is the one who finds Bigfoot, we’ll have proved 2 things-

    1- Bigfoot exists.

    2- There is no God.

  24. Mike Smith responds:

Mnynames, you forgot the third thing. We would have to pay top dollar to see this poor creature being put on display, up and down the U.S. Lets hope for Bigfoots sake and ours this will not happen. And Tom will fade into the night like the skunk he is.

  25. Fox responds:

I don’t trust Biscardi anymore than anyone else here, but all the Biscardi-bashing aside for a moment; does anyone actually know Biscardi’s methods of research?

I’ve been to his website(s) and he’s posted a few photos from the Funk’s Grove research, but no notes or any explanations!

I mean, did he just show up at Funk’s Grove for an hour or two, and assume he’s “getting closer”? Isn’t he from California? If I had invested the time and money to make the trip all the way out to Illinois, I’d at least investigate for A FEW NIGHTS at Funk’s Grove and post a detailed log on my site.

I’ve been to Funk’s Grove many, many times, and it has very little acreage; as far as forestry is concerned. IF sasquatch resides in the Funk’s Grove forest, finding evidence of it should be relatively easy, compared to the vast expanse of the forests of Oregon or B.C.

So what I’m saying is, if he’s so certain sasquatch inhabits Funk’s Grove, why can’t he find evidence in a mere square mile of woods??

I feel kind of embarrassed he’s making our local papers with a broken tree as evidence…

So, does anyone know if he is actually doing any legitimate investigating around here (Illinois), or is it just some weird form of self-promotion?

    thanks, for any answers

  26. kamoeba responds:

Not only is Funks Grove a bit lacking in acreage, the surrounding area for countless miles is either flat open farmland or developed human civilization. Also, the fact that stoners and drunks hang out at Funks Grove to party leaves me really skeptical of this sighting (my guess is that one of the aforementioned folks either saw something normal that they in their impaired judgment mistook for Bigfoot or they simply made it up).

P.S–Being out amidst the countless acres of open farmland (not a hill or mountain in sight), the trees at Funks Grove are susceptible to high winds during storms. If I had a nickel for every broken tree limb
I’ve seen around here after a storm or high winds, I’d be able to fund a lot of legitimate Bigfoot research.
