Update: Christopher Noël: Confident There is a Body

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on May 6th, 2013

Christopher Noël posted this additional reason he is still confident Rick Dyer is telling the truth to Facebook.

This is in addition to: The Telltale Pinky: Just Three of Many Reasons I am Still Confident that Rick Dyer is Telling the Truth.

Morgan Matthews’ Cagey Cliffhanger: Just the Fourth and Fifth of Many Reasons I am Still Confident that Rick Dyer is Telling the Truth

4) In his post-premiere interview, the director goes out of his way to answer a question that nobody is asking. “People want to know whether I transported a Bigfoot body. No, I did not.” Why set up a straw man to knock down instead of engaging directly with the question everyone is asking? That question would be: “Did you, Morgan Matthews, witness Rick Dyer killing and then transporting a Bigfoot body?” Matthews’ peculiar sidestepping and blatant refusal to weigh in on this matter further bolsters point #3.

5) In February, on his show Rick was asked whether the Sasquatch body has ten fingers and toes. He responded, “Yes. Well…it’s missing a pinky.” This portion of the show lasted about fifteen seconds, lost amid hours of meandering conversation and the typical bashing of “haters.” Fast forward two months, when Rick was asked to tell his audience something they didn’t already know, and he said, “Do you remember when I said he was missing a pinky?” Neither Daz nor Pink remembered that at all. But I did.

I don’t believe that Rick Dyer is a clever enough storyteller (if he’s telling a mere “story”) to hold such random facts stable in his head over months and hardly ever make use of them. I am sure folks will violently disagree, but to me this is the kind of narrative coherence that seems persuasive and beyond the skills of this man as “fiction writer.”

  1. James Soderquist via Facebook responds:

Sequel? It’s all bullshit, til we see a body. Empty promises, from empty suits.

  2. David Mancha via Facebook responds:

i guess he has never heard of special effects makeup

  3. chadgatlin responds:

I disagree. As I understand it, the point of film is to show the lengths to which people who search for bigfoot will go. This being the case, the filmmaker could very well be setting up a sequel to say “that viewer would be CORRECT!”. The sequel would fall along the same lines of showing that an obsessed man, desperate to regain his lost credibility, would stage an attack attempting to convince the filmmaker.

  4. Fhqwhgads responds:

You know, it’s one thing when we have available evidence that we can speculate might or might not point to of an unclassified hominid, or even pure speculations about the hominid and his lifestyle. But speculations on unavailable purported evidence of “hidden animals”? No. Evidence that is not available for inspection is not evidence at all.

  5. William responds:

Maybe he was attacked by a bear, or an individual (perhaps Dyer himself) not wearing a suit. Those would also be explanations. I don’t buy one iota of any of this. I don’t see how such an intelligent man as you obviously are Mr. Noel, can fall for these shennanigans? This guy is a proven fraud on a national scale. Has he ever apologized or given any explanation for that sorry episode? Now he is at it again only this time trying to rake in bucks – sort of like a promoter of a scam or ponzi scheme.

  6. Evso Rivers via Facebook responds:

If the creature was shot in September and he plans to reveal the body this August what is he doing with it now. Decomposition starts within one hour after death. Stomach fluids need to be drained and blood and tissue need to be obtained for testing. Brain matter needs to ne collected and DNA from the liver and other organs need to ne collected.is Rick Dyer a scientist what can he possibly gain by letting this specimen going to waste? If its real then let the experts see it. As far as I know Dr.Meldrum has not been contacted he is the only ally that can bring creditably to this matter. If its true I applaud you for doing what needed to be done I beg you stop your nonsense and give to us straight let Patterson’s legacy be a warning to the outcome of your suspicious behavior even Melba Ketchum has come public with her studies man.

  7. DWA responds:

Fortunately, I am not compelled to dwell in edifices deemed “solid” by others.

There are all sorts of very good reasons that a lot of inconclusive evidence, forming a compelling pattern, has not yet resulted in scientific confirmation. (That no scientist who pronounces negatively on this topic shows Sign One of acquaintance with said evidence? VERY good reason.)

There is however, no (zero) (0) (zip) (nada) reason that something shot in September, proof of which the world has been awaiting for decades, is yet unavailable for scrutiny, by either relevant scientists or the public, the following May.

    Sorry. It makes no sense.

    What does make sense?

“There’s a sucker born every minute” as a good explanation for such as Biscardi and Dyer. I mean, just look. Platinum wha?

Chris: you and M.K. Davis need to start a club. No thanks, I got other stuff to do.

  8. PhotoExpert responds:

Chris–LOL However, I am not laughing with you, it is beyond that, I am laughing at you. What a ludicrous statement!

Chris pssst, Chris, there is no body, never was. You should have known that from the beginning when you heard the names Tom Biscardi and Rick Dyer. Any reasonable man with even a small amount of gray matter would have known it was some kind of money making scheme. It is a money making scheme, a failed one, but still a scheme.

So now Dyer is off to sell books to try to make some money because this film just did not pan out.

The film maker made his film and got what he wanted, it was about the people who hunt BF and not necessarily about finding or shooting an actual Bigfoot. The film maker was already interviewed and said he did not see a Bigfoot while filming, correct? That seals it for me. Sure, put on a little make up and come up with a good line for a sequel, and you can make another movie and hopefully some money. That’s all it is Chris! No body in their right mind would still think there is actually a Bigfoot body except for the unintelligent or the naive. Which one are you Chris?

I’ll bet you any thing you like that I am right and you are wrong! Anything! Care to take me up on that offer?

I doubt you will because as your hope runs out while you continue to believe without logic and the facts at hand, you know I am correct. You know Dyer the liar never shot a Bigfoot. Even the film maker has confirmed this either directly or indirectly in interviews, but yet you persist. Just throw in the towel and admit you were wrong! Here is where “believing” without evidence or less than ethical characters reporting to have shot Bigfoot, will get you in trouble.

Chris, pssst, listen pal, there is no Bigfoot body, never was!

  9. dconstrukt responds:

    I’m 100% with DWA.

until i see proof, all those guys are a bunch of jabronies.

prove it or shut the F up.

  10. Kjak75 responds:

As much as i don’t like the fighting between Dyer and his critics, and know i am going to get flamed for this by the skeptics, i have to say my opinion here.

I think some people may be forgetting something here.

We have no proof that Dyer has a Bigfoot body, but we also have no proof he does not have a bigfoot body.

There are arguments for each side, but the simple truth is that, there just is not enough evidence one way or another to make a rational decision at this time.

We are all entitled to our opinions but such shouldn’t really be expressed as absolute fact.

A lot of people were absolutely sure there was no shooting bigfoot film.

Anyone claiming to know 100% one way or the other is simply not being logical, unless they are Dyer and/or are in on his latest (alleged) hoax…

  11. PoeticsOfBigfoot responds:

I’m with chadgatlin- it’s the falsest of reason to jump to such a conclusion, or any conclusion for that matter, from a quote like that.

  12. springheeledjack responds:

It’s ridiculous to come forward and say that you have a body, and then proceed to make a movie and sell books and advertise before you ever show off the body . . . unless it’s a scam to make money. Sorry, no other option holds water.

I captured a baby Nessie about five years back, swimming along the shore near Urquhart Castle. Caught it in a bucket. I will show it to the world, but first I wanted to study it and let it grow to good size. My book will be out this summer, so if you want, just cut me a check, and I’ll gladly sign your book. Nessie Jr. will be ready to show to the world probably this fall . . . give or take.

  13. dconstrukt responds:

they (the hoaxers) do this because they know this community is filled with tons of suckers… people who want to believe SO BADLY, they’ll believe just about anything to support their belief.

    case and point here.

For ANYONE to believe this guy has anything, without seeing any proof… how dumb are you?

  14. PhotoExpert responds:

Kjak75–I hear what you are saying. And you would be correct except for one thing. That thing is that Rick Dyer is a liar and admitted hoaxer.

If he had no history in the Bigfoot community, either positive or negative, I would say, yes, your post is correct.

However, everyone knowing his past history, proven to be a liar and a hoaxer, turns the tide only one way–and that is not in favor of Dyer’s statements. One can not even hope the needle on that moral compass of his will head towards the middle. It is pointed in the direction of failure and scheme.

In court, if one commits perjury which is what Dyer basically did, the judge would consider every word that came out of his mouth since the perjury to be a lie. In other words, once a liar, always a liar. A judge who is objective and fair would rule against and not admit any of Dyer’s statements since his hoax. We must also do the same thing in the Bigfoot community.

You are right if Dyer had no past history but since he does, you are incorrect. See, you did not get flamed at all. Instead, we just pointed out the error of your ways and lack of critical thinking. You can not exclude Dyer’s past in evaluating his present proclamations.

  15. cryptokellie responds:

I seem to recall reading items of people making extraordinary claims right here on CRYPTOMUNDO…
    Hogzilla:
    Hunter shots giant hog.
    Take dubious photo…releases to media.
    Leads media to body/grave site.
Conclusion…Hogzilla – real animal, if actually not quite the reported size.
    Woman kills enormous Alligator:
Woman kills a very large alligator.
Photos released to press. Body examined.
Conclusion…Real alligator, aside from whether it should have been killed or not.
Two fishermen catch 20 ft. Great White Shark off coast the of Mexico.
Two fishermen catch an enormous Great White Shark.
Haul the body in, alert media to verify.
Conclusion…Real Great White Shark, among the largest ever caught.
    And then there is…
Man claims to have shot a Bigfoot.
Does not contact legitimate media outlets immediately.
Has no undeniable photographic, video or physical evidence.
Claims has body but will not make carcass available to verified media/scientific sources.
Hides behind clichés and tries to profit from groups with willing suspension of dis-belief issues.
Claims “certain groups making threats” to end active storyline.
    Conclusion…Hoax.
    Summary;
Amazing things are being discovered by ordinary people all the time.
They are exited by their experience and willing to share openly and honestly.
Shady things are being perpetrated by shady people all the time. They are
trying to profit from their scheme and then hide behind hype and conspiracy
    theory claims.
Bigfoot, if it exists, will be proved by an ordinary, honest person or persons.
No dubious claims, no chicanery, no questionable evidence, no conspiracy theories.

  16. DWA responds:

    Kjak75:

“We have no proof that Dyer has a Bigfoot body, but we also have no proof he does not have a bigfoot body. …Anyone claiming to know 100% one way or the other is simply not being logical, unless they are Dyer and/or are in on his latest (alleged) hoax…”

You’re right. And it doesn’t make any difference.

See, here’s the distinction I was making.

When there is a very very large pile of evidence that something is happening, for which scientists in relevant fields vouch because they have examined the evidence, and when no one who disagrees with them shows a significant level of acquaintance with the topic, now you have to, if you are objective, say that there is something here worthy of investigation. (Unless, of course, you just prefer not to know stuff. Or can make a case that this isn’t worthy of investigation, which boy I would love to see.)

But, when one guy has a story? And it just doesn’t add up? And he seems to be showing all the earmarks of Starved For Attention and Hopefully Attendant Fame?

Well: why is he worthy of attention, until he provides the proof that he says he has?

This is far different from someone who really didn’t want to see something saying that, well, he saw something. (And not wanting anyone, in the world, to know who he is.) None of those people are saying they have proof. They are just saying: you might want to know this. Because it sure was real to me.

Dyer’s different, and not worth time of day until he shows what he says he has.

  17. DWA responds:

cryptokellie: Your post makes what should be an obvious point but doesn’t seem to be:

This is all about evaluatiing evidence.

Pretty much all the evidence of which we are aware – and your post didn’t even scratch the surface – says that when people find out something that appears new and amazing, THEY CAN’T KEEP THE LID ON IT. How many people have run to folks saying SASQUATCH IS REAL! I SAW ONE! as if their sighting should be considered proof? What evidence do we have that anybody who would do something like this would do anything but – at the very least – showing photos AND footage that would intrigue anybody, and I mean anybody, in order to get as many offers as fast as possible?

We see pretty much none. And history says that, if he has one, we should ALL be on utter tenterhooks because of what he has ALREADY shown us.

    Um, Rick.

  18. William responds:

@DWA – Dyer is not worth the time of day even when (if he ever does) show us what he has, because he has nothing, unless he tries to show us another costume. I believe he is not mentally right to do such a thing in the first place, much less trying it again. Even worse is anyone falling for it.

  19. Fhqwhgads responds:

“We have no proof that Dyer has a Bigfoot body, but we also have no proof he does not have a bigfoot body.”

In fact, we also have no proof that Obama is not that rare combination, a sasquatch skinwalker. That is, his natural body may be that of a Bigfoot, but he takes on human form by means of the Black Arts.*

The truth is that an infinite number of ludicrous suggestions are always consistent with any data set. That’s why we need some version of Occam’s Razor. Occam’s Razor doesn’t “disprove” the more elaborate theories; it just says your best working theory is the simplest one that is consistent with the available data.

    * See the feature-length special on this topic tonight after “Weird or What?” on SyFy.**

** Sadly, this is actually better than most made-for-SyFy movies.

  20. cryptokellie responds:

    To DWA;
As usual we are on the same page. Could anyone contain the excitement and emotional surge that a discovery on this scale would provide? Not to mention the profitable rewards, if have handled sensibly and honestly? I don’t see how.

  21. NMRNG responds:

    Kjak75 said:

“We have no proof that Dyer has a Bigfoot body, but we also have no proof he does not have a bigfoot body.”

We also have no proof that Rick Dyer’s body does not possess the restless, incorporeal soul of Elvis Presley or that he is not the real Tooth Fairy. But so what?

When there’s not a shred of credible evidence, and very strong evidence against the likelihood of a tale being true, then it is outright foolish even to give that tale the credence of being a possibility. Remember, we are not seeking to convict Rick Dyer of a crime, for which we would have to show beyond a reasonable doubt that the questionable individual is guilty. Dyer is the one making the statement that he shot a bigfoot, he is the one upon whom the burden of proof rests to establish the truth of what he is claiming. This is 1,000% more the case when the individual has previously been found to have lied and committed fraud on the exact same issue, as has Dyer.

Dyer has failed to come forward with any evidence to support his claims, even though he surely would be in the position to have done so if what he is saying is true. His failure to prove his claims when there is no good reason for him not to have done so is practically insurmountable evidence that his claims are illusory. Combined with the fact that Dyer is a known liar and bigfoot hoaxer, this makes it altogether unreasonable for any person possessing even modest quantities of intelligence or common sense to believe him.
