Christopher Noël: Confident There is a Body

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on May 13th, 2013

Another reason, among many, that I am still confident that Rick Dyer is telling the truth.

7) Admittedly, this one follows quite a roundabout path of logic. See if it makes as much sense to you as it does to me.

Leading up to the world premiere of “Shooting Bigfoot,” Dyer robustly sold the idea that the powerful proof contained in the film would remove all doubt as to the legitimacy of his claims. On dozens of occasions, he promised his audience that we could expect “two to three minutes of crystal clear HD footage. Hell, you’ll be able to see the boogers in his nose!” On the strength of this assertion, many of us drove long distances in order to witness the historic sight; the guys from FB/FB, for example, traveled thirty-seven hours round trip in an RV.

As we now know all too well, the film contains less than two SECONDS of the Sasquatch in question. Whether he was given bad advance information by Morgan Matthews or was deliberately baiting his listeners, Dyer led us all out on a limb…and let us drop. Then, when we rightfully complained, he compounded the insult by jeering, “I’m sorry the Bigfoot didn’t come out and do a song and dance for you”–as though we ourselves had somehow allowed our hopes to inflate out of all proportion in the absence of Dyer’s very own hot air.

Now, those who find this man’s story to be utterly lacking any credibility in the first place will naturally point to this spectacularly failed promise and cynical, mean-spirited follow-up remarks as yet further evidence of the moral and epistemological bankruptcy of the case at hand. While sharing their disgust, however, I approach this affair from a different angle.

Dyer’s broken word and his new request, now, that we simply go ahead and resume the waiting game for another fifteen long weeks–until a promised August 15th body unveiling at a Las Vegas casino–has evidently cratered morale among his followers. Childish infighting has resulted in ousters and defections among his formerly tight Team Tracker circle and an ever-decreasing Internet radio audience. Dyer’s much-publicized mid-May Ohio expedition, featuring Dallas and Wayne, has been canceled due to lack of interest.

But where most see a sinking ship I look for a smoking gun. It is at just such a moment of plummeting confidence and organizational implosion that any scam conspiracy would be expected to fall apart, and quickly, once-loyal insiders “turning state’s witness” in order to salvage a last vestige of personal credibility. Where are they?

Detractors sense sweet vindication here, crowing as though it has already arrived. I frankly don’t see it.

Here is a little help in “seeing it Chris.” Dyer himself doesn’t believe in Bigfoot. He thinks the entire idea is a joke and that people who do believe it exists are simply gullible fools or “marks.” He has already shown this behavior to the world previously, and as far as I know, totally without remorse. What more evidence do you need other than what has transpired and continues right now?? As Judge Judy says, how would you know Dyer was lying – by seeing his lips moving …. Good grief!!!

  2. Sweetsusiq responds:

I do not believe that Rick Dyer ever had a Bigfoot body, I believe the entire event was a hoax, then Rick stopped doing all radio programs because he claims that someone threatened his family. I know nothing about the threat, but since Rick departed the airwaves there is nothing being said about the movie making anyone a believer, nor anything about Rick’s supposed dead Bigfoot body being real. Hoax and Rick the Liar Dyer mean the same thing. Hopefully he will end up in jail after taking big bucks for people to attend his Bigfoot expeditions, and purchase movie tickets expecting to see a real Bigfoot but instead saw nothing that could be verified as being much of anything except looking very similar to a Bigfoot costume. Time will tell…

  3. volmar responds:

Come August Rick Dyer won’t show the Bigfoot body, or any evidence of having shot one, but he will promise to reveal the proof in December in Reno, no Atlantic City, no the Moon! It really does not matter what he promises, he’s not known for keeping his promises. He’s hoaxed in the past, and I can’t understand why some folks still believe him.

  4. PhotoExpert responds:

Chris Noel states: “Another reason, among many, that I am still confident that Rick Dyer is telling the truth.”

My response: I and the vast majority of the Crypto world are confident that Rick Dyer is not telling the truth”

Chris, either you are correct and the whole Crypto world is wrong or we are right and you are wrong. Which is it? LOL

Now take into account Rick Dyer is a proven hoaxer. Take into account he is a proven liar fired by his former police department. Take into account the outright lie that there would be minutes of footage on the supposed Bigfoot and there were a mere 2 seconds of footage. Another lie! Take into account that Rick Dyer has left the Bigfoot community when the film was a complete financial failure for him. Take into account that he is now selling books. LOL Do you see a pattern here Chris? No, well then just go on ignoring facts and reality and enjoy that fantasy world you live in where Dyer is as truthful as the day is long.

Chris, I have personally come to the conclusion that you are not naive. You are just not that smart and lack the common sense you were supposedly born with. When Dyer is proven a liar, can you post some more nonsense? That way we can all have a laugh at you and on you!

And the FB/FB people are just as foolish as you for believing in Rick Dyer to begin with. They drove 37 hours to see that film? Really? Idiots, all of them! What a waste of time. I thought they are cutting their ties with Dyer. Or are they going to join you for the August 15th unveiling of another Bigfoot costume? Nobody is holding their breath on that one either, well, maybe nobody except you!

Stop posting nonsense Chris and join us in the world of reality!

  5. springheeledjack responds:

    I “frankly” don’t see a body…

  6. tpanek responds:

You sound like an abused wife with two black eyes. He’s such a good man he just got a small problem doing the right thing. He just has a little problem telling his story. Come on he’s a hoaxer. A match made in heaven. Mr. Gullible wake up. This is not how you kill an unknown species and present it to the world.

  7. Evso Rivers via Facebook responds:

There is no body its another stunt he was promised a lot of money its all a stunt to get publicity for this movie. When they found the giant squid the footage was on the news months before the show was on tv even though it was going to be on a broadcasted show it was available to see on YouTube and Google because:
    1. It was real
    2. No matter how many times it was seen or how many ways you could see it they knew everyone and there mother was gonna watch the show just to see the story behind the footage.
    3. The best publicity for the show was the news release the YouTube video and the Google images
    4. it was such a massive discovery the scientist couldn’t wait six months to show the footage.

So if there is a body and the body is being studied by real scientist then it would be on the news by now.

Last why Las Vegas this is not a place known for scientific breakthroughs so then this all BS.

Show the body and then well wait to this schmuck from England tweaks his movie and releases it.

  8. marcodufour responds:

Psychologically the clue that he is lying is right there in his statement ” two to three minutes of crystal clear footage. Hell, you`ll be able to see the boogers in his nose! ” Liars always accentuate to cover up for the lie and to try and reinforce their position, this is also true when he states ” I`m sorry the Bigfoot didn`t come out and do a song and dance for you ” again, all known psychological behaviour for liars.

  9. Peter Weir via Facebook responds:

agree, show the god damn body or quite posting about the belief in a body..this story is so old, move on let Dyer rot like the reported body of Bigfoot…scammer

  10. DWA responds:

“But where most see a sinking ship I look for a smoking gun. “Detractors sense sweet vindication here, crowing as though it has already arrived. I frankly don’t see it.”

And that’s why the cash registers of the Biscardis and Dyers keep on a-goiin’ ka-ching.

  11. william d responds:

dyers stalling. 15weeks? thats enough time to pocket alotta cash. then he can go on a trip to S.America & no one can touch’em.

  12. bigyeti responds:

    Go away, Christopher Noel.

  13. Goodfoot responds:

    william d:

Cash from WHERE? Cash from WHOM?

[cue Rick Dyer singing, “I Ain’t Got No Body”…]

  14. NMRNG responds:

Cryptomundo has published at the top of its home page an apology over statements made on the website.

I think it’s time to publish another apology for filling this site with delusional nonsense claiming that Rick Dyer is telling the truth and put a stop to these ridiculous Christopher Noel posts.

  15. William responds:

At this point, I think it is fairly transparent that Noel is simply trying to salvage his book from being a huge financial albatross that he is being buried under by Dyer – the liar. Chris, unfortunately, you hitched your wagon to the wrong horse, and should never have written your book. I can only imagine sales have dwindled to nil. Your only recourse would probably be to sue Dyer.

  16. Joxman2k responds:

I suggest that there is no smoking gun because it is pretty apparent that he is full of shit. Why would loyal followers jump ship now? It’s like saying the sun is hot after you get a sunburn, or the Grand Canyon is a pretty big hole after you fall to the bottom.

I respect Chris but I think he is over-thinking Dyer. If you think about a subject long enough you will come full circle and then add fantasy facts to it. That is how a whole industry of conspiracy theorists exists. Time to get off the Dyer merry-go-round Chris.

    😛

  17. DWA responds:

Joxman2k: just had to check in to say: right.

Some people are just addicted to the sideshows, or have focused on them for so long that they can’t reorient themselves to serious stuff.

Chris: see if you can go write about NAWAC for a while. Or read some Meldrum, Bindernagel or J. Robert Alley for the right way to go about this. The Dyer carcass has been smelling for so long, I am a little perplexed why the forest scavengers have not yet completed their work.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
