Finding Bigfoot: Rejected Evidence

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on January 15th, 2014

What sort of proof do we need to find a sasquatch? In our new web series Finding Bigfoot: Rejected Evidence, Executive Producer Keith Hoffman analyses evidence rejected during the production of the series and discusses why it wasn’t fit for TV.

A Nonchalant Sighting in Utah

Trapshooters in Utah catch an interesting glimpse of a creature in the woods. Problem is, they’re awfully chill about the whole thing, which raises Keith’s suspicions about its authenticity.

I don’t know, I understand about the not continuing filming thing, and it would be nice if he asked them why, and maybe he did…but, I think their response is more realistic than most….I mean it beats “HOLY SH*T! GRAB THE BEER AND RUN! ITS A FREAKIN’ BIGFOOT DUDE!” which is what we sometimes see.

Well, I can’t fault him. And gotta say that figure looks better than most fakes.

I read a report that sounded pretty compelling to me: an old lady rolls down her car window, looks at him, and says out loud: well, well, you’re real, aren’t you. Another compelling report has the driver opening her car door, stepping out of the car but staying behind the door, and just watching. Not particularly scared or anything, just watching.

Nonchalant, my point being, has to be done a certain way. And this video doesn’t show any way I’d expect.

It in fact shows little to no interest. And I got real problems with that.

The fundamental question to ask is: if you’re a Bigfoot researcher, do you buy a plane ticket or foot the gas to get there? If not…well, what’s gonna come of it?

This is one of those, to me.
