Japanese Bigfoot (Hibagon) Caught on Video?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on April 8th, 2014

The Hibagon is what the Japanese call their Sasquatch-type creature. Said to be smaller than the North American Bigfoot, and less wary of humans, the Hibagon is said to resemble a Gorilla with man-like attributes. This video fits that description.

Bigfoot: Believers Only found this video on YouTube. We haven’t been able to find any information about this footage as of yet but it appears to come from a Japanese YT channel that show paranormal videos. The clip looks to be part of a documentary short or news report. Does it show a REAL Hibagon, or is it yet another hoax? IF this is real, it is one of the clearest pieces of film of a Bigfoot creature since 1967’s Patterson-Gimlin film.

  2. Greg Tight via Facebook responds:

    Really?? The worst fake ever!!!!

  3. zigoapex responds:

LOL,u can see the pant leg and shoe on the picture of the video.

  4. Peter Von Berg responds:

Fake. The legs are a dead giveaway. The guy in the suit stands up from a crouching position just like a human would , not an animal.

  5. Keith Charlie via Facebook responds:

That is plain to see it’s ‘ Human ‘ and not even close to being any sort Bigfoot . Just look at the movement of the legs and body.

  6. dconstrukt responds:

    LOL… a bigfoot in japan?

its an island, how’d it get there? by boat?

or did the chinese secretly smuggle it over?

the “bigfoot” is wearing black pants and sneakers, you can clearly see it from the still 1st frame in the first video.

i cant speak japanese, but i know nonsense when I see it.

  7. Champ Voucher responds:

Assuming that this is real, isn’t it strange to Bigfoot experts that these creatures are seen on extremely remote islands like Japan and island continent Australia ? Some of these places have been isolated for 50 million years. How in the world do “man-like primates” get there ?

Even Prince Edward Island, where Squatch are seen, is a pretty far swim for an ape. Also notice that like on many modern Bigfoot videos, a face is never seen. Put a gorilla at that distance and I’ll bet you have no trouble seeing it’s expressions. Maybe it’s getting time to give credence to suggestions that Sasquatch might not be what everyone in The crypto community thinks it is.

  8. G. de La Hoya responds:

Kind of reminds me of this Blue Oyster Cult song:

  9. shmargin responds:

Ridiculous. Unless Japanese Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) are so unafraid of humans that they shop at our stores and wear pants and shoes like this one clearly is.

We should send Dyer over there to prove its real. Maybe he’ll get lost and never come back.

  10. Goodfoot responds:

    shmargin:

I accept “Bigfoots” as correct. It’s what I use. Even the “stabilized” version is jumpy. FAKE.

  11. Jeff Beyers via Facebook responds:

lol! Its a human, but i love vids like that just the same.

  12. cryptokellie responds:

Ahh so. vely interestting. Notice prease that the figure is wearing both pants and shoes.

It is apparent that the Bigfoot hoaxers are active in this area.

All kidding aside, this is a promo for a TV film or documentary of some kind as I believe a translation of the narrative would prove.

I think that, like the noun deer, Bigfoot is both singular and plural.

  13. mandors responds:

In the land of the Power Rangers, they couldn’t come up with a better costume?

The real phenomenon is the motivation to go through all the rigamarole, the costume, the setting, the filming to make such a lame hoax.

  14. Hapa responds:

Whoever says that videos are good proof of sasquatch ought to be horsewhipped.

Same goes for those who believe such evidence trumps bodies, parts of bodies, fossil or a live specimen.

Enough videos: we need REAL EVIDENCE

Otherwise, we will keep being bombarded with this kind of junk

To be fair, there are Neanderthal sites on Crete, so I imagine that if there are such creatures in Japan, they may have gotten there the same way.

That being said, I would imagine that the Japanese bigfeet are smaller than their American counterparts because the monkey suits are smaller in Japan. And I really would have been much more impressed if the “creature” had actually caught a fish.

  16. LordBalto responds:

I should point out that if someone is interested in what one finds while hiking through the foothills of Japan, the videos of Kurt Bell, posting under the screen name of SoftyPapa on YouTube, can be quite instructive. And though Kurt has seen a few peculiar things, the most dangerous one he managed to photograph was the Asian giant hornet, which, if his reactions are any indication, are a lot scarier than any stray primate.
