Definitely some interesting sounds there. Due to the one vocalization sounding like a Matt Moneymaker recording, this immediately smells of hoax to me. I am not saying the investigator is the hoaxer but it is very possible someone was out there making Moneymaker type howls. He said he was sent to investigate this area. Who sent him? Whoever that was knew he was there and could have set the guy up. It is nice to think that these may be real Bigfoot vocals but the odds of them being a hoax far out weight the odds of them being genuine.

whiteriverfisherman, I was wondering the same thing. Mr. Sherman believes that no one knew he was out there, but at the beginning of his narration, he mentions contacting the folks who initially reported the noises and setting up an appointment to meet them and inspect the area. This could have given someone plenty of time to get there ahead of him and set up the howling/growling.

It’s much like paranormal investigations … there’s some compelling evidence out there, but whenever some well-meaning investigator shows up at a disclosed location on a pre-arranged schedule, there is room for a hoaxer.

  3. Goodfoot responds:

If you suspect a human hoaxer, I think you are seriously mistaken. Maybe it’s an INHUMAN hoaxer, who had access to the Moneymaker tape.

Howl does sound like the Ohio call, dang thing always makes a chill go down my spine because of the thing I heard years ago in the swamp behind woods at the rear of my house. I’ll be interested in what an animal sound expert says about it.

  5. Goodfoot responds:

    I’m ruling out coyotes.

But HE HEARD A GROWL CLOSEBY, and STAYED FOR TWENTY MINUTES? He’s a better man than I!!!

  6. squatchman responds:

Super great vocals! One of the best ones I have heard!

  7. dconstrukt responds:

these sound much better than the other post above… but how can one be sure its not another animal?

is there people who can analyze this?

listened to his soundcloud… pretty f’n cool… no idea what the hell is making the noises, but nonetheless very interesting… would love to find out what is making those noises.
