Mount Beacon Bigfoot

Video of a Sasquatch catching a fish? Mount Beacon, NY?

My husband filmed this by Fishkill Creek by Mount Beacon. He lost track of where it went and kept filming for about 45 minutes. He returned there a few more times with no luck.Randal Hart

LOL With water socks on even. Fake, unfortunately.

  2. Paranormal Xtreme via Facebook responds:

wt.. r u seriouse. Tat can’t be real.

  3. Redrose999 responds:

    Isn’t that a Chewy suit?

Totally fake, walk is wrong, the hair looks like fun fur, no muscular movement. Good grief!

  4. Dan Capogna via Facebook responds:

    smh…

  5. Karenetta Smith via Facebook responds:

Bigfoot does not wear boots..wish people would stop faking this stuff…makes it hard for people that have real experiences.

  6. Jared Edens via Facebook responds:

this is such a bad fake too

  7. cryptokellie responds:

Chewbaca camping. I especially liked the “crouch”, a very Human action pose. Also enjoyed the cautious tip-toe out of the stream. Then we get the jiggle-panning of the bushes which means the video will end. We also learn from this video that Bigfoot wears shoes…lol.

  8. ashkenaz responds:

Bigfoot wearing shoes. I’m glad Bigfoot finally realized to get something to protect his feet after all these years. That must be why there aren’t many tracks popping up anymore.

  9. DWA responds:

And we apply my handy dandy video BS detector and here’s what it says (and this video is nice about being really clear):

    Human proportions, human movements.

    Human.

    NEXT!

  10. Matthew Pfeifer via Facebook responds:

Why even post this and give ANY type of credit to this obviously horrible fake.

  11. AlyoshaK responds:

As much as I’d love to believe in this one, this sasqautch appears to be about 5’6″ tall and also seems to be wearing army boots. It’s certainly not very massive. Good taste in boots though.

  12. dconstrukt responds:

    ROFLMAO!!!!!

    wow.

There’s a sucker born every minute.

    mount beacon bigfoot?

    More like mount beacon MORON.

What a bunch of jabronies. if you think this is a real bigfoot, I’ve got a bridge in NYC to sell you for $5.

  13. Cryptidcrazy responds:

    That looks completely fake.

  14. David-Australia responds:

Why do you even bother with this obvious fake rubbish?

  15. Pete Fischer via Facebook responds:

Thanks Musky and Rick…now any fool with too much time on their hands and a camera are going to waste our time with this nonsense. The proportions are too wrong…legs and arms are too human instead of inhuman. looks too much like a wild man instead of a Bigfoot. subject seemed tooo jumpy…it really seems that these creatures don’t care… even if they rabbit, and run away, they seem to have this confidence….maybe an arrogance as they melt away into the thick woods. This video makes me think of the ape-boy from Land Of The Lost…. Lets pretend that it is a juvenile, it still is far too human unless young do not have characteristic long arms and classic BigFoot legs….you know, thick. Let me put this out there for any potential hoaxer….do it in a very safe place- like your own property, because the whole Shooting Bigfoot thing has easily shown that there are people out there who would shoot at an ape suit in the woods and ask questions later….

  16. William responds:

The statement that the husband filmed this may be quite true, as he could be filming a Jack Links commercial which is precisely what this bigfoot looks and acts like. I don’t know why but I found this very funny. Thanks for brightening up my day!

  17. Amadeo Wayne Quilici via Facebook responds:

It was a pretty good monkey suit, but they should have splurged on a more realistic fish.

  18. Chupa_JD responds:

I’ve seen more believable acting in my kids school plays. Smh @ the fakery…

  19. Jayross responds:

I’m in agreement with David-Australia; was there REALLY any debate about this?

Perhaps we can look forward to the “fact” that Sasquatch wears combat boots being mentioned on the next episode of Finding Bigfoot… ;D

  20. Mokele-Mbembe responds:

precisely why hoaxes cannot be shot in HD. Shoes appear clearly as the man leaves the stream. I started laughing as soon as the video started, its bouncing up and down in a human squat. It reminded me of golem catching fish in the Lord of the Rings. But, since it wasn’t a blobsquatch we can move on quickly without much discussion.

  21. Evso Rivers via Facebook responds:

I agree Pete this is what happens when you entertain these people.I’m a New Yorker and believe me there are definitely areas that are capable of being habitats.and if we take lessons from the people who brought us the giant squid patience is a virtue. Persistance is the only way to catch one on film.if it’s real I believe a good quality film of one would be sufficient.the subject on this film is too human.this bumbling fool filming it is too much of a clutz to Merritt even getting close enough to one to film it also I believe if he was this close to one the animal instinct would be to attack and kill him not retreat.these are giants not cute squatchy things. The subject in the San Antonio film is clearly an individual that is there to steal and take what it wants regardless of who sees it.even when it hears the voice of people its instinct is not to run but to turn and appproach the voice as if it’s ready attack and kill whatever dares to confront it.a word to the wise these are not benign individual they are omnivores who would probably eat the meat of men if given the perfect oppurtunity

  22. alan borky responds:

Oh my god Craig just as I’m getting over the excitement Grover the Muppet’s real it turns out Fozzy Bear is too!

But wocka wocka wocka hasn’t he let himself go although maybe this’s just his audition tape for the role of Ben Gunn in Muppet Treasure Island.

I was go’n’o say what a load of bollocks but quite clearly he hasn’t got any.

If that’s really a Sasquatch then clearly the fact it was little taller than a circus midget and jittery as a junkie that’s run out of glue means we’re clearly witnessing them devolve into the Sacksquat especially since they now seem incapable of noticing what blind deaf and noseless humans’d be capable of spotting there’s a guy with a camera practically sitting on their shoulder.

On the other hand if it’s an extremely bad method actor dressed in orange nylon fibres attached to canvas clothing then maybe he should go see Andy Serkis in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes who convinces as the lead precisely because of the economy and precision of his movements.

Ditto the cameraguy who might learn you don’t turn away for no good reason at precisely the key moment.

  23. William responds:

Makes me wonder if they had shot this right at first light, on a cloudy day and put some padding in the legs and arms and filmed further away, that it could have been passed off as a juvenile Bigfoot and some folks (like Cliff, and Moneymaker, maybe even Bobo) would have bought it as legit, as the combat boots would not have been clearly visible. Thank goodness this was not the case and I do give a little credit to the hoaxers (more like pranksters) for that. LOL.

  24. cryptokellie responds:

    re; William…
William brings up a good point to ponder. There are hoaxers and there are pranksters. I think if we place future film/videos the appropriate title category, we can at least have some fun along with the pranksters and save the real vitriol for the hoaxers. This footage is by a prankster…no agenda, no BS story-line, no attempt to profit from the gullible. Just a little fun and no harm done. Dyer on the other hand is a hoaxer…big agenda, total BS story-line, created expressly for profit until the truth leaks out. I can enjoy the pranksters – all in good fun. I loath the hoaxers who think that anyone will believe anything and profit from the caper until they are uncovered.

  25. Goodfoot responds:

    BOOOOOOOOO…. Sassy, GO HOME!

  26. Allen Hopkins via Facebook responds:

Nice, except for it’s wearing shoes.

  27. Peter Weir via Facebook responds:

Why do you post fake crap… This is nit giving legit videos and evidence the credit they deserve. Disgraceful you call yourself a research group..

  28. Cryptomundo via Facebook responds:

    @Peter Weir
Cryptomundo is NOT a research group. Don’t know where you got that impression, but it’s totally wrong. Cryptomundo is a blog site for cryptozoology news and discussion. You might want to know what you are talking about before you open your mouth or otherwise voice your opinion.

  29. volmar responds:

Another kid in another monkey suit. These hoaxers are so boring…

  30. springheeledjack responds:

Never mind that “Bigfoot” looks back at the camera at least once…

The only value this has is for us to pick them apart–good exercise (except maybe in this case ’cause really not that tough) in critical thinking to apply what is human vs. what is not.

  31. HulkSmashNow responds:

I can’t believe you guys even wasted the time to post this. He had shoes on!

  32. Goodfoot responds:

    cryptokellie:

I couldn’t agree more. This is pranksterism that borders on tricksterism. But not quite there.

This is a good humor type of affair; malice would be displaced.

  33. Goodfoot responds:

    springheeledjack:

“Never mind that “Bigfoot” looks back at the camera at least once…”

    “HI MOM!”

  34. Goodfoot responds:

Craig: Boy, are we EVER not a research group! I wouldn’t have it any other way than it is now.

This is where I come for a grin, nearly every day.

  35. Goodfoot responds:

Paranormal Xtreme: word to the wise, whoever that is: your Tweeterisms will get you laughed at here. We be adults here. Hopefully, you get the message. We post like grownups here. Twisted, perverse grownups at times, but grownups nonetheless.

  36. gman responds:

I wish there was a way where we could sue these idiots for these fakes

  37. Peter Weir via Facebook responds:

ok relax, just think that we need to post legitimate items not truly fake crap…takes away from real research, and you as a blog site or discussion site, whatever you call yourself, i dont care…stop posting crap…dont you agree that this is crap and posting it does more harm than good.?…this is also a place for free speech..remember you have that in the USA ..we have it in Canada and we dont like crap, expecially from out bully neighbours to the south…and i will open my mouth and voice my opinion to whom or whatever i like…this is an open blog and discussion…..discussion, lets discuss the pros and cons of posting fake, items…agree.???

  38. Joxman2k responds:

Wow. It must be a slow crypto week to be posting this crap. And all of us commenting on this is an indication that Cryptomundo is currently lacking any interesting news right now.

I’m not putting Cryptomundo down just stating that it seems to be a slow news week.

    😛

  39. dconstrukt responds:

this crap just shouldn’t be posted. you’re making it worse by posting stuff like this.

  40. Jayross responds:

When there are popular television shows that feature clueless people running around the backwoods pretending to see Bigfoot everywhere; this is what you get. Joe Public and his drinking buddies figure they can cash in and maybe end up with an internet/radio audience or possibly even a reality cable show. And sadly, they can.

Now everyone wants in on the act. I would imagine costume shops are having a difficult time keeping Chewbacca & Planet of the Apes suits in stock.

  41. Goodfoot responds:

    dconstrukt:

Making WHAT worse? I don’t understand. You seem to think we’re doing “important work” here. We’re NOT. I love Cryptomundo, but what we have here is a sort of quilting bee for unknown creatures. You’re taking this WAY too seriously. Take a step back, deep breath, come back for fun and snappy repartee……

  42. squatchman responds:

You are kidding. How could anyone believe this kind of crap? This is obviously a man in a cheap ape-suit that you could easily buy online. Its actions are man-like, and nothing is like a sasquatch.

  43. Goodfoot responds:

    squatchman:

You’ve missed the point. It’s all in something called “fun”. We’re not about research. It was intended as an object of good-humored ridicule.

Lighten up. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
