New Johor Bigfoot Tracks Found?

Oldtimers here at Cryptomundo will undoubtedly remember the Johor Hominid craze from 2006.

For a quick refresher on the Johor Hominid Tracks, check out this post from 2010, Johor Tracks: Four Years Later.

Now we have a claim that new “giant” footprints were recently found in the region.

The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN) has poured cold water on bizarre claims by villagers that they found footprints belonging to a Bigfoot in Kampung Gudang Garam, Segamat.

In a statement, a PERHILITAN spokesperson said officers were called to investigate the claim on Monday morning, following viral online posts and local daily articles regarding a “giant” footprints found in a vegetable farm in the village.

It was reported that a 58-year-old farmer, Liew Tze Chong, stumbled across the supposed Bigfoot footprint Sunday morning while riding his motorcycle with his daughter through his farm.

“When I got there I was surprised to see dozens of giant footprints around 1.8 metres to 3.6 metres wide.

That’s got to be a misprint, “giant footprints around 1.8 metres to 3.6 metres wide.” That’s some bigass footprints! 🙂

Here’s the rest of the story: Giant footprints are not that of Bigfoot, says Wildlife Department.

  1. Jonathan Poulsen responds:

Notice how the foot is more like that of a monkey or ape, than say that of a human.

  2. Goodfoot responds:

Something that could make that track would be at least 20 feet tall, I would estimate, maybe 25.

Impossible! Where would it hide? In addition, it would be so heavy it wouldn’t be able to stand, let alone walk. It would suffocate and be crushed under it’s own mass.

My math skills are atrophied, but a quick calculation indicates a minimal weight of 7,200 pounds.
