Breaking News: Bigfoot Found in North America – Documented Events Reveal Sasquatch Lives

Overnight AM producers have been contacted by a man claiming to have found Bigfoot living in his backyard somewhere in North America (Location: Confidential). The evidence is substantial based on eyewitness testimony of a man whose life has been turned upside down by the creatures, a family of four; two adults and two infants, who bed down in his backyard every evening. UFO Magazine & Clearly Skewed Entertainment has dispatched a film crew to the area to document the events as they unfold on camera.

Tonight, Mike (last name withheld), a 70 year old veteran with no interest in the field of Bigfoot research, will join Lan Lamphere and the Overnight AM radio show audience to describe the events of the past few weeks and his encounters with this family of Bigfoot who have taken to living in the forest behind his home appearing every night to bed down in his backyard to escape biting mosquitos.Lan Lamphere

Listen to the program here. You will need to open the file with one of the followings applications: iTunes, RealPlayer or WinAmp.

I have contacted William Birnes, publisher of UFO Magazine and a facebook fan of Cryptomundo by the way, to see if he can share any additional details regarding this case.

I have only had a chance to listen to the first twenty minutes or so of the program, so I have not listened to “Mike” or any of the investigators who were guests of the show.

What do the readers of Cryptomundo think after listening to the program?

Lan Lamphere said on the show that he had contacted the BFRO and that Darcy Stoffregen of Maple Ridge, British Columbia was investigating.

Tip o’ the hat to Alton Higgins of the Texas Bigfoot Research Conservancy for the story.

  1. Weezy responds:

Guy has a family of sasquatch in his back yard for 3 weeks, and hasn’t taken a picture or some video?

  2. SIRUPAPERS responds:

Sounds too good to be true, this is similar to what we heard with the dead Sasquatch hoax. Until the film becomes available and DNA can be obtained from their nests, I will not get excited…maybe.

  3. airforce47 responds:

I’m listening to Mr. Mike per CW’s request and the Georgia Hoax comes to mind which I fell for hook, line and sinker. I’ve noticed Mike states that he can tell the male Sasquatch from the female by the size of his gentilia. This is contrary to what most witnesses report if they have a chance to see the front lower torso of the male of the species.

The witness, Mr. Mike, does seem to be forthcoming and is reporting what he has seen and recently experienced. Other descriptions of behavior by the species seem to be fairly accurate. His observations do not seem to describe movement of the species close to the ground which have been observed by other witnesses.

Another point is the witness doesn’t seem to be fearful of the species. He explains this by being astounded when they first appeared. This was my first reaction to the species in 1973 by finding a very clear print. It changed quickly to fear when I realized what made the print was only 40-60′ away behind a rock outcrop.

If this a true habituation a thorough search of the woods behind the witness’s home will reveal tell tale evidence of their presence. Things like nest depressions, hair, fingerprints on the windows of the house, DNA on the surface of cast off food, footprint depressions and possible damage to the foilage of the woods etc….

In considering the veracity of Mike we should remember that Stan Courtney is convinced the species in moving closer to us and can be found just outside our urban areas. Mike presents a solid case for habituation even though at the moment there isn’t any supporting evidence but this should change very quickly. My best,

  4. Weezy responds:

My fault for not listening to the whole thing first, the guy explains that he doesn’t have a camera that works, can’t afford one, he’s old and retired. Not saying that makes this credible, but it at least could explain the no pictures thing. I’ll believe it when I see it though, very interesting story though, interesting interview.

  5. Loren Coleman responds:

    It’s a story.

The radio station contacted me about being on the program.

Why should anyone with any scientific methodological approach to this field want to go on this radio show if they have been blocked from doing a firsthand investigation?

  6. Peter77 responds:

Hi Loren, what exactly do you mean with your last comment when you state it’s a story? Do you mean they have admitted that it has all been made up?

  7. Peter77 responds:

By the way, without having listened to the show (I’m working at the moment, it’s midday over here) this has the stench of BS all over it. Nobody would react to four hominids in his back garden the way he did. Not having a working camera is no excuse, everybody with an IQ over 40 would be so excited that they would move heaven and earth to get any sort of recording device. Nope, I don’t buy it.

  8. skeptik responds:

I can also recommend the open source VLC Media player for these types of streams. In fact, I’ve yet to meet a format it doesn’t support: http://videolan.org

  9. geekomancer responds:

Does the name of the film company scream hoax to anyone else? I mean “Clearly Skewed Entertainment”? Are we going to see yet another video where “Bigfoot” gets kicked in the groin and those of us with an open mind are called morons?

    Sorry, I’m not buying.

  10. MattBille responds:

This sounds really weird. It’s hard to fathom why a person faced with such a singlur event would not borrow a camera or get a friend with one to come over. I’ll be interested in what pops out from the promised investigation.

  11. Alton Higgins responds:

Odd that the Overnight AM summary said “family of four” because “Mike” said it was a group of six, possibly seven.

  12. MattBille responds:

I’m leaning towards expecting this to be exposed as a hoax.

  13. zigoapex responds:

you mean to tell me he couldn’t buy a throw away camera?10 dollars including developing the film.

  14. Spinach Village responds:

    Very interesting! Thank you!

I am trying to be patient and reserve judgment. That is going to be hard, now that I am recalling the whole Georgia Bigfoot (hoax) suspense.

  15. alcalde responds:

“The evidence is substantial based on eyewitness testimony….”

See, there’s the problem right there. Eyewitness testimony isn’t substantial evidence… or, scientifically speaking, any evidence at all.

  16. subrosa responds:

I thought that at least this thing had a CHANCE of being real, but with BFRO involvement, now I have my doubts.

  17. RWRidley responds:

We’ll know it’s a hoax as soon as CNN and FOX News gets involved.

  18. WIDOW responds:

All I have to say about this one….. in the words of the late Rick James “Cocaine…it’s a hell of a drug!”

  19. RandyS responds:

Another “Mike” with another story without evidence or proof. I entertained myself for a while by trying to count how many times host Lamphere said, “Interesting. Interesting indeed.” But ultimately, without some kind of proof, this is just so much noise. Interesting, but of no consequence.

  20. squatchy responds:

I attended that 2010 Oregon Sasquatch Symposium where Autumn Williams described in detail her relationship with a man named Mike, a bulldozer driver, located somewhere in Florida. She details the relationship in her book Enoch.

THE PROBLEM IS… this guy said it’s only been going on for 3 weeks. The convention was more than three weeks ago and Autumn has had time to write this whole book. A different Mike? Or, a hoax?

  21. Goodfoot responds:

Bill Birnes? Never saw a UFO picture that wasn’t real, never once questioned that UFOs might not be from outer space.

We need him in Bigfoot lore like we need a hotfoot.

  22. eireman responds:

    @ Goodfoot: 😀

  23. E responds:

This reader says this should never have been labeled “breaking news”…

  24. UFO Q and A responds:

There are many films classified of the Yeti including a major incident in New Mexico and a A.F. crash site and incident at Holloman AFB New Mexico circa summer 1980.

  25. MattBille responds:

Reports/claims of films locked away from the public are like claims of bodies having disappeared: they are not evidence. They are claims evidence exists.

There seems no sane reason why the government would classify a sasquatch film for its own sake. I could see it being withheld while plans were laid to protect the species’ existence and habitat, but that would not be classification.

The one situation where it could make sense is if the images were taken by some recon system which is itself secret, or if the film showed classified installations.

Still, alleged evidence no one can access is not useful to anyone even if it does in fact exist.
