Bill Munn continues to impress. Hooray for our side! 🙂

One thing that stands out is that the creature’s footprints are substantially deeper than the ones left by the guys casting the track. That’s a good sign.

If this film were faked back in 1967, there’s no way it would not have been figured out by now. Not with the technology that we have today, compared to what they had back then. Even if the PG film were made by a big budget movie studio.

“Hooray for our side”? Those sure sounds like the words of somebody who really wants to believe. I used to think that there was enough evidence to merit further investigation, but the longer I looked, and the longer no concrete evidence appeared, the less I believed. A few days ago they posted a video of a great white shark that was unexpectedly encountered off the coast of North Carolina. It didn’t look like a log, it didn’t look like a wave, it didn’t look like a shadow and it didn’t look like a guy wearing a shark suit. It looked like a shark. If the Patterson film is the best evidence for Sasquatch that over a half century of investigations can produce, I’m still unconvinced. I’m not trying to be critical here, but I do wonder if there are any people out there who like me are no longer believers but are still writing books as if that still believed. I don’t think that many people would buy a book titled “Strange Creatures from Time and Space That are Probably Figments of the Imagination”. I might, but my favorite Sasquatch stories and the ones that got me interested in Sasquatch in the first place were the ones that my cousins and I read in their father’s and an older cousin’s adult magazines back in the sixties. They might have been obvious fabrications, but they still gave us the creeps when we played army guys in the woods behind our houses. My all time favorite cryptid story involved a white hairy creature with a catlike face that was supposedly responsible for some disappearances in Appalachia following a UFO sighting. The story came to me via my sister via some guys in a Huntsville Alabama bar. My sister said that the guys were pretty convincing, if anybody here has heard this story I’d love to hear your version of it.

No it doesn’t. It just sounds like somebody who is a proponent (as I am) who is sick and tired of all the cynicism and outright mockery of the subject.

And what on earth is wrong with accepting as true/accepting as fact that sasquatch is a real creature? That’s is all the word “believe” means.
