Nessie FM plan attracts support

A HIGHLAND News exclusive story about a white witch who plans to hijack the radio air waves and blast out monster music songs in a bizarre bid to summon Nessie has been getting international attention.

Last week, we told how the high priest of UK white witches, Kevin Carlyon, will be creating his own “pirate radio” to transmit 10 music hits which he believes will get the spirit of the monster to make an appearance.

And he asked HN readers to come up with suggestions of songs he can play to Nessie to put her at ease for her big reveal.

But as well as getting emails and comments into our Inverness offices, the paranormal researcher has also had suggestions from Nessie lovers as far afield as Melbourne and Nova Scotia.

He plans to play the hits to the monster in an illegal FM broadcast and also place half a dozen radios around the banks of Loch Ness which he believes the spirit of the monster will hear.

He said: “I don’t expect the creature to appear immediately but I do expect sightings to recommence over the coming weeks and months. It will also show the world that Loch Ness is still there in the winter months.

“I’m hoping that Nessie expert Mikko Takala will capture images on his new webcams that focus on the loch. He is not associated with the pirate broadcast.

“I don’t know which 10 I am going to pick yet, but I have plenty of options. I will probably pick a mixture of monster and witchy related songs.”

He added: “I was amused by one Scottish paper which suggested this was a hoax. The radio equipment I will be using is all available on eBay and to set it all up costs around £150, including the transmitter, aerial, battery etc. Although I will be broadcasting illegally, I do not condone people that try to broadcast over other legitimate broadcasters. I am using 106.8FM as it is clear at Loch Ness.”Highland News

“Nessie FM plan attracts support” by Cryptomundo too!

You are doing your own credibility no favours by publicising the nonsense presented on http://www.lochness.co.uk/ and the most recent sighting of the Loch Ness monster’s Anal Finn.

If he wants serious songs to play to get Nessie to reveal herself, Monster Mash springs immediately to mind.
