I was super fortunate to attend a standing room only screening of Bobcat’s much anticipated “Willow Creek”, a bigfoot themed found footage feature film. The indie film played at the super cool NerdMelt Showroom in Hollywood in the back room of the famous Meltdown Comics.

Now lets talk about the film, not much to say except AWESOME! Willow Creek certainly delivers in more than one area and for this sasquatch guy, it lives up to the hype. It was funny in the beginning, suspenseful in the middle and scary in the end. There are wonderful improvised scenes with the two principals (Alexie Gilmore & Bryce Johnson) that are most worthy of note, and Bobcat Goldthwait certainly deserves recognition for his first scary movie. For those familiar with well known bigfooters, you will get to see Tom Yamarone and Steven Struefert make solid appearances.

Anyway… I could go on and on, but all I am going to say is BIGFOOT is SCARY AGAIN!!!! Go see it as soon as you get a chance, kudos to all involved and big thanks to producer Aimee Pierson too for all the hookups.

In case you missed it, here’s our interview with Bobcat from earlier last month. Enjoy 🙂
