I think this story is of elvish make.

Seriously, after the elf story, I have no idea if this came from some wacko’s blog or what. Sadly, this site is loosing credibility.

  2. Goodfoot responds:

“Sadly, this site is loosing credibility.”

    Poor baby!

  3. Goodfoot responds:

At first glance, I thought that Robert Alley book was named RAINCOAT SASQUATCH, and I thought of…..

    Y’know.

  4. DWA responds:

Caddyfan: I think your opinion is of elvish make.

I mean, what is it based upon?

I think you are loosing (sic) credibility. Just with me, and just on this, now.

  5. Caddyfan responds:

DWA: The “elvish make” comments were meant in humor. What I mean by the site losing credibility is that with a little research, the elf story could have been proven false. Other videos posted here are the same. I just wonder if there is any attempt made to verify the authenticity of stories and videos before they are posted on Cryptomundo.

  6. Goodfoot responds:

😉 I certainly never expected to see the word “elvish” here, even in a cryptozoology site!

  7. Goodfoot responds:

I believe it’s a serious (ahem) mistake to assume (or maintain) that CRYPTOMUNDO is a 100% “serious” blog… we need to make sure our detractors aren’t the only ones laughing (if indeed they ever are).

In fact, I would not choose to be a part of a 100% “serious” blog. A sense of humor is the saving grace of sites such as this. And I’m a HUGE fan of “saving grace”.

No one here should expect this to be serious all the time. There are other options to those who do.

  8. DWA responds:

    Caddyfan:

Well, how do they get validation of authenticity?

One of the people that had that encounter shot that bigfoot, and here are the photos, and there’s the body, that’s how!

That isn’t the point here. Alley, a well-known researcher, has tons of stories like this and here’s another one.

To those who have paid close attention to the evidence, this grows the ever-growing pile of consistent evidence that says the scientists – as boringly usual – have missed something. Those who look at each piece of evidence presented as either up or down, proof or not, are missing that critical point.

Which is why science is still in the dark on this; that’s what they’re doing.

How was this proven false? Did you see that somewhere?

  9. Goodfoot responds:

Yeah, the problem with scientists is that so many have made up their minds, irrespective of evidence. They feel perfectly comfortable ignoring what is right in front of their minds. Because the self-same scientist cling to comfort. And comfort is the sworn enemy of Science.

  10. Caddyfan responds:

I have no idea whether or not this has been proven false. It probably hasn’t and probably can’t be, regardless of whether or not it really happened. This is the nature of cryptozoology, and why “real scientists” don’t take it seriously. But, if enough evidence comes forth, mainstream scientists like Bryan Sykes and Jeff Meldrum will eventually get involved. And that is what is starting to happen now, I believe. But it is true that most will continue to regard Sasquatch as a myth until a body is found.
