SasWhat: A Podcast about Bigfoot

Episode 14: Letter from a Skeptic
August 30, 2014

This week we received a letter from a skeptic and decided to dive into some of the questions brought up. We talked about self-proclaimed “Bigfoot experts”, the legitimacy of the Patterson-Gimlin film, people who have multiple sightings, and much more.

  1. Goodfoot responds:

A piece of paper cannot ever be “skeptical”. Pieces of paper do not have an opinion.

    Just sayin’.

  2. DWA responds:

How can I tell, without even listening to this crap, that it’s gonna be crap?

    Easy. Watch.

“self-proclaimed “Bigfoot experts”, the legitimacy of the Patterson-Gimlin film, people who have multiple sightings, and much more.”

Much more. How much do I want to bet that I haven’t heard all of it, 100 times? Easy. The stuff I put in quotes.

When somebody addresses the evidence and shows that it is something other than it says it is, I’ll pay attention. Until then I will just reiterate that bigfoot skeptics aren’t. If you want to profess to know something about a topic, address the evidence, and the scientists who disagree with you about what it represents. If you do not, you not only are full of it now. You were already full of it before the PGF was even shot.

Skepticism doesn’t insist on a flat earth five decades after compelling evidence that it’s round. Please.
