Truckee California Bigfoot Video: Enhanced and Stabilized

Influenced by the bigfoot sighting in Payson Canyon, a couple sent me this footage they say is from outside a cabin in Truckee California in July 2013. Similar to that sighting this couple say they were also to scared to upload it or send it to someone. But they saw the Payson Canyon footage and breakdown and decided to follow suit and send theirs to us as well.

Honestly there is a lot to be suspicious of this bigfoot sighting, but we will objectively review any and all footage that is sent to us and would never want to discourage any content in case it is legitimate. What do you guys think? Are we right to be wary of this one? Or is there something we are missing that might make this one real?

Looks very human. The head is very square, not cone shaped. The way the figure casually tosses objects doesn’t seem very “feral.” There doesn’t seem to be a lot of brush where the thing is standing either. The “forest” looks to be about ten feet thick. You can see a clearing on the other side, and the person with the camera runs back to another clearing. So kind of looks staged.

The only thing that might be interesting is size. Need photoexpert for this, but assuming that the focus height of the camera is the shooters eye level, that places the height of their head right in the middle of the figure’s chest. We don’t know how tall the person with the camera is, heck it could be a little kid, but if they’re average, then the thing could be close to seven feet. But again, if the person is short then all bets are of.

    Wary is a good word.

The movements of the “sasquatch” while breaking sticks seems quick and …I don’t know it just doesn’t strike me as something other than a human. Not that I’m an expert, but that coupled with the usual lack of details: behind a tree, only steps out at the end, is still basically a silhouette…all of it smacks of a hoax.

Even if it were legit, there’s not enough detail to legitimize the footage. It will just go on the shelf as another video.

Bad mistake to enhance and stabilize, because now it looks more phony than ever. Not only does the whoop sound human, but the movement looks human. If it sounds human and looks human …..

  4. Goodfoot responds:

Guess he didn’t find his golf ball! I’d be pissed too. Bigfoot misses the cut at the Truckee Open.

  5. PhotoExpert responds:

Mandors–We actually do not need me for this, as your analysis was spot on!

As mandors stated, ten feet of forest then a clearing, the tossing of sticks looks staged, no conical shape to the head, etc.

The only thing that I could add, is that the person filming aims the camera down and runs off, just when there could be perfect video footage of the subject in question. Why? And the vocalizations are within human range.

Kudos to mandors for his comments! I agree with everything mandors stated. Good job!
