One Response to “Wild Vermont Expeditions: Sasquatch”

  1. NMRNG responds:

Anyone thinking of going on a Christopher Noel expedition should know a few things about Mr. Noel.

    – He is the author of a work that is now withdrawn from the Amazon Kindle Store entitled “Shooting Bigfoot: What the Rick Dyer Body Means for Sasquatch Research,” an e-pamphlet that did several things:

    1) It proclaimed that Rick Dyer genuinely, actually had shot and killed a 9′ male bigfoot in San Antonio, Texas and it would be revealed to the world in an upcoming documentary called “Shooting Bigfoot.”

    2) Noel somehow failed to mention in his publication the rather pertinent and material piece of information that Rick Dyer is the infamous fraud and former law enforcement agent who perpetrated a hoax by claiming to have found a sasquatch body in Georgia in 2008, which turned out to be a monkey suit frozen in a block of ice. Despite prodding on the topic, Noel refused to explain why he omitted this highly relevant information that very, very strongly suggested that Dyer was doing nothing more than perpetrating yet another fraud.

    3) More than 90% of this e-pamphlet was self-plagiarized directly from Noel’s prior books, literally, no exaggeration, yet he did not reveal to purchasers of his prior book that they had already bought and paid for almost the entirety of this publication.

Despite numerous reasonable, intelligent people telling him he was being duped by Dyer, Noel very vigorously and vociferously proclaimed he would be vindicated once Dyer released the body. Rather than ever taking responsibility like an adult and admitting he was wrong and apologizing for some rather less-than-polite commentary he left in the Amazon reviews to critics and doubters, Noel merely withdrew his e-pamphlet from Amazon once Dyer was shown yet again to be a fraud and hoaxer.

    – His published works and videos on YouTube attribute any number of naturally-occurring events to bigfoot, including the arrangements of tree branches blown over by storms and claims that a cat’s tail shown curling for a few seconds behind a brush pile is a sasquatch hand on an infrared video.

    – In one of his books he details the alleged interactions of a hermit cat lady with a local sasquatch with whom she telepathically communicates such detailed information as the inter-politics of her sasquatch family unit and this tall, hairy primate could not only count, but keep track of age up to 30 or more years, something that some cultures of stone age human beings could not do.

Anyone who is contemplating going on one of these bigfoot expeditions can anticipate that Noel will likely point out every broken tree limb or trunk, every haphazard pile of brush, every slightly abnormal call or cry by an owl or coyote, every rustle of leaves or creaking tree branches in the wind as evidence of sasquatch. He will likely also tell you that sasquatches can sense technology so you should not bother bringing any sort of audio or video recording device.

But I am pretty sure he will take you hiking through some pretty and scenic New England woods.
