Latest on Bigfoot Body

Posted by: Loren Coleman on July 24th, 2008

Apparently, the guys at, or an associate named David A. Claerr of Garland, Texas, on behalf of, the Georgia Bigfoot trackers are now putting out a press release.

The new item has just shown up at “Associated Content.” The site describes itself as “a platform that enables everyone to publish their content in any format on any topic and then distributes that content to engaged audiences through its website and content partners. Those who contribute to Associated Content’s ad-supported collection of original text, video, audio and images gain exposure and often earn cash for their participation. Since being founded by Luke Beatty in 2005, Associated Content has grown exponentially. Today, with its vast library of unique multimedia content, diverse community of Content Producers and scalable platform, Associated Content provides consumers, brands and publishers with a wide range of quality content.”

This “news item” is peppered with words like “purportedly,” “reportedly,” “possibly,” “perhaps,” “not yet disclosed,” and “according.”

Even if this release is not from the bftrackers, it serves their purposes, and is strangely supportive, expounding the reality of the events in one specific sentence: “In fact, from an analysis of their body language, and patterns of neuro-linguistic expression, they do not appear to be lying.”

This item has been removed by request of the author, David A. Claerr, and as before, you may go to this link to read the full article: Bigfoot Killed, Kept Frozen; Police Officer Claims
Sasquatch Corpse to Be Publically Revealed

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.

Wow, I am really behind the times. I did not know that you could look at a Youtube video production and tell from body language and “neuro-linguistic expression” that someone is telling the truth. Man, I need this guy for my next jury trial. I have an internal BS meter that I have developed over the years and it goes off the scale when I watch these guys.

I also understand that one of these guys is a cop. I think every case he makes will now go to trial. The first defense exhibit will be his videos. Sad.

  2. cinemaniac1979 responds:

Allow me to edit this down and translate:

    “Dear World,

We don’t really have a Bigfoot. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. Please don’t hurt us.

    Sincerely,

    The ‘Bigfoot’ ‘Hunters’.”

  3. Greg102 responds:

ha. the bigfoot tracker cop’s boss, police chief Jeff Turner’s son got arrested today for theft. http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/clayton/stories/2008/07/24/clayton_police_son_arrest.html

  4. DWA responds:

I’m still holding out for news stories peppered with words like “certainty,” “absolutely,” “confirmed,” and “proof.” 😉

  5. EEB responds:

On the Bigfoot Tracker website they say they “guarantee” they will capture a bigfoot alive in 08/09. But, if they really did have a body as they claim, wouldn’t it have already occurred to them that scientific recognition would quickly lead to state and federal protection of the species, thus prohibiting that sort of activity (at least without a scientific permit)? Either they are not thinking ahead, or this is further evidence that they’re making this all up….

  6. mystery_man responds:

Joppa- Oh yeah, this is cutting edge stuff. You weren’t aware that someone can be completely absolved from the possibility of lying by careful analysis of their patterns of neuro-linguistic expression? They have to be telling the truth. Lying is a thing of the past through these observational techniques. It’s science. 🙂

    Groan.

Fiction can be fun. Evidence is a little harder to come by. This is typically what is required in these situations, otherwise the scientists involved wait until they DO have this evidence. I don’t believe there has been any major zoological discovery in recent memory that has been handled in such a incompetent and spectacularly grandstanding manner. This is either a big joke, or a really badly handled discovery. No? Prove it.

My own neuro-linguistic analytical skills are not strong with the force, so I repeat to the gentlemen who made these claims of having a body. No, I challenge them. Show us ANYTHING AT ALL.

And no, sketches of the eyes just aren’t going to cut it.

  7. Cashel responds:

I have a sickening feeling that this will just be one big “joke” in the end.

When I first heard about the “we have a Bigfoot body” shenanigans, I didn’t expect much from these people, and that’s what I got.

I’m wishing that this will be a soon forgotten fiasco in the Bigfoot community, but I’m thinking it won’t.

I hope I’m wrong, but you know how it goes.

  8. gridbug responds:

“The general impression one gathers is that these young men are energetic, enthusiastic and perseverant field researchers, who though lacking in formal education and training may none-the-less actually have recovered a deceased Bigfoot.”

    Re-edited for clarity:

“The general impression one gathers is that these young men are lacking in formal education and training.”

    ‘Nuff said.

  9. Carlfoot responds:

    These guys don’t have Jack!!!!!

  10. springheeledjack responds:

cinemaniac made me laugh out loud…good one!

  11. PhotoExpert responds:

Since the “genius” cop and friends, did not think this out to it’s ultimate fruition, that is why we are seeing all this backsliding on information and one lie to cover another.

Their hoax or joke, apparently, got out of hand and over their “uneducated” heads.

Since they are slow on the “learning curve”, what it sounds like to me is that they finally consulted an attorney. And the attorney told them what we already knew and figured out from day one. That is, soliciting funds on the premise of a falsehood or a lie is fraud. And that is why you see them refunding money for any trips that they booked on the false advertising. They are now trying to mitigate their damages in any future lawsuit headed their way. Plain and simple! LOL

The joke continues to be on the cop and friends as these “geniuses” finally figure out through experience, what we all already knew. We were about 10 to 20 steps ahead of them. While they were laughing and joking, they did not realize the reality of the joke was on them.

Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do!

Perhaps they can back out of this with minimal damage done to them financially or their reputations. Let me put it in words they can understand if these hillbillies are reading this. “Hey dogs, just run away with your tails between your legs and save yourself additional humiliation or at least more humiliation than you have already received.” Chew on that for awhile instead of tobacco in your mouths! LOL

They say they were experts in “tracking”. Let’s see how expert they are in “backtracking” through this mess that they have created for themselves.

Again, although their hoaxed failed, their joke worked, but we are the ones that are laughing.

  12. alegler responds:

In fact, from an analysis of their body language, and patterns of neuro-linguistic expression, they both appear to be drunken hicks with nothing better to do with their time.

    AL

  13. Spinach Village responds:

There is certain language used in this article that yell

“yeah, a cop wrote this.” .. oh wait he is a cop

  14. captiannemo responds:

They will roll out a big block of ice with some kind of taxidermy sculpture frozen inside.

Then charge people a buck to see it.

This sounds like the Minnesota ice man all over again!

  15. Lightning Orb responds:

Hey, their Sasquatch lost a foot – before it was 8 feet tall; now it’s only 7. And maybe they aren’t actually lying outright; could they be just a little lightened in the belfry? Perhaps it was a joke, and now they’ve gone so far as to actually believe their own tale? Or could one have a fake, and have managed to convince the others with it? Hmm… But maybe… perhaps possibly, it is all a huge, mega ultra top-secret plan to catch the Squatchter for real; If the primordial forest giants have access to the web, maybe it’s all a trap to convince them humans now have one of them, so they’ll have to go raid the ice box and steel the body to keep us from ever uncovering their true identity – but these guys will be waiting for ’em!…

…yeah, I think it’s a hoax too by the way

  16. Cashel responds:

Lightning Orb, I noticed the height change, too. Maybe they only just now figured out how to use a tape measure?

  17. twoly responds:

I keep seeing everyone here talking about how these guys are ‘lacking in formal education and training’. How may of you have been out in the wilderness hunting in an area where Bigfoot is supposed to be? While I am as skeptical as the rest of you as to them actually having a body I really believe that when a Bigfoot is found it will probably be by a ‘hillbilly hunter’ since they are the ones in the area with guns. The things that stand out to me is why have the not gotten an actual scientist to verify the account or even the local veterinarian? This would quiet most of the sceptics. I understand that they would want to hold onto this and consult a lawyer before going public with it but they would need some sort of independent verification of this. Also is this is a possible case of someone poaching why has the DNR not at least visited the house to see if there is cause for a fine?
Some of these postings are kind of amazing to me… like when EEB mention that they will not be able to capture one bacause the State and Community will have them protected but then they mention how uneducated they are so I would not think they are thinking that far ahead.

  18. Artist responds:

7 feet tall, in a block of ice???

    Oh NO, it’s The Thing!!!

  19. CamperGuy responds:

twoly responds:”….How may of you have been out in the wilderness hunting in an area where Bigfoot is supposed to be?”

Raises hand. I only hunt with a camera but please note screen name “CamperGuy” 🙂

    retirement goals:
    1) Kayak the Mississippi to Florida Keys
    2) Multiple, months long camping excursions into remote areas. Camera at the ready. 🙂

  20. tasteslikethunder responds:

Has anyone considered that they will reveal a frozen ” big foot” like literally a large frozen sculpture of a foot? Technically they would not be lying, and the laugh would be on us.

  21. Renfield responds:

If this “hunter”–on parole, did indeed shoot the bigfoot with a “30-06”–he is in violation of Federal law, as convicted felons are prohibited from possessing firearms.

At the very least, if the folks making these claims are indeed policemen, then they are guilty of Dereliction of Duty, and possibly Conspiracy, for not arresting a felon who, by his own admission, possessed a firearm. Someone should contact the district attorney in the county that employs these policemen, to see about a criminal indictment of them.

  22. Tengu responds:

I think someone’s unearthed the Minnesota ice man and is going to turn him loose on a suspecting world…

It certainly sounds like him, doesn’t it?

  23. twoly responds:

twoly responds:”….How may of you have been out in the wilderness hunting in an area where Bigfoot is supposed to be?”

Raises hand. I only hunt with a camera but please note screen name “CamperGuy”

I understand that there are people out there, and Loren goes to sightings and interviews people and checks out sites of various crypto events. I own several of his books and am a huge fan.
The point I was trying to make was that there are people who live in the area where Bigfoot is supposed to be and there are people who hunt in the area virtually every weekend (with cameras and guns ;-). These are the people that have the best chance of finding something just because of the amount of time they spend there. If there was a Crypto that traveled about in cubicles in office buildings I would have a better than average chance of finding them, also I wanted to explain the difference between ‘lacking in formal education’ and being a backwoodsman who understands the environment these creatures live in.

  24. zigoapex responds:

They say that they’re just waiting for the attorney to take care of the legal aspects.

So, why don’t they have their attorney or attorney’s sworn statement correlating the story? Very easy to do, so why wasn’t it done?

Because they’re full of bologna, that’s why.

These guys kind of sound like the person from Canada, who had the website that said he had definite proof but was waiting for protection (for Bigfoot) from the Canadian government.

I hope it happens for real, soon, as these [Georgia] guys are just feeding the skeptics all the ammo they need.

  25. Loren Coleman responds:

David A. Claerr who is not an associate of the bftkers, has requested the content be removed and the link remain. I have done that.

I would recommend that anyone that wishes to historically save the contents, copy them for your records now, before the entire content disappears.

  26. Innocentwolf15 responds:

Hey I just went to bigfoottracker.com site again…theres nothing there.or at least it wouldnt load for me.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
