Forthcoming CZ and Bigfoot Events

Today, the Bigfoot Bash opens the next season of Bigfoot and cryptozoology conferences, lectures, and gatherings. Don’t think the Bigfoot hoax is going to keep folks away. For example, the event I will be speaking at in New Hampshire was sold out weeks ago.

The con in Lexington, Kentucky, in September, and the two October events in Massachusetts, the Mass Monster Mash evening and the Boston Museum of Science lecture, I’ve been told, have limited seating. The interest in Bigfoot has never been higher, apparently. Act now, if you want to attend.

All the events with an asterisk [*] are ones at which I will be speaking.

Bigfoot Bash and Bounty – Washington State – August 22-24, 2008.

Beyond Reality Conference* – New Hampshire – August 23-25, 2008.

Bigfoot Days – California – August 30, 2008.

Scarefest* – Kentucky – September 12-13, 2008

Mass Monster Mash* – Massachusetts – October 18, 2008.

Texas Bigfoot Conference – Texas – October 18, 2008.

Boston Museum of Science* – Massachusetts – October 29, 2008.

If you know of any others, email notice to Cryptomundo, and I’ll add them to my next update.

Here also are some posters from some of the forthcoming events:

Enjoy them all, and if any breaking news comes out of any of them, we’ll report on it here.

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.

  2. Ole Bub responds:

    Good afternoon Cryptos…

Several of us attended the TBRC conference last year, even though its a long drive…from the wilds of Sasquahoma, the trip was well worth it.

I encourage folks to support and attend their regional conferences, you have an opportunity to meet and visit with scientists, researchers, authors, habituators and perhaps an ole bub.

Crying shame they don’t accept dawgs…

    live and let live…

    ole bub and the dawgs

  4. Megatherium responds:

I hope to make the Texas conference myself and a tentative trip to the Kiamichis sometime after the Honobia festival. Both will be my first bigfoot conferences and investigations into the woods and I’m pretty excited about it.

  5. Artist responds:

HEY! When will somebody put together a whoppin’ Conference/Festival/Fest/Bash/Mash/Days for us po’folk waaay out here on the left coast – some friendly, easy-access town like Sacramento, right in the middle of all the Big-action, HUH?

  6. phoenixrising responds:

the honobia Bigfoot festival website has the dates for the 3rd and 4th of October. Can anyone shed some lite on the reason the poster says the 5th and 6th?

  7. Ayala responds:

I can’t wait for Scarefest in KY. I am only going because Loren’s going to be there! 🙂 I am happy that we are having something in my neck of the woods that I can attend! 🙂
