What Are The Top Cryptozoology Holiday Gifts For 2011?

Posted by: Loren Coleman on November 29th, 2011

Okay, this is a purely curious posting. What kinds of gifts are you giving, hoping for, and hearing about, of a cryptozoological nature, for the holiday season of 2011?

Just wondering…please leave comments and photo links below. I’ll upload images of what’s popular in a future December posting. Thanks.

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.

Since a tropic fish tank with the Coelacanth probably won’t happen.. I’d have to go with the Sasqwatch.

  2. Wendigo Truth Force responds:

Was hoping to see people talking tech here. Maybe that could inspire some items for my own wish list. Still, I guess it would be easy enough for me to say that I’d like one of those high-dollar Reconyx HC600 Hyperfire Trail cams. Or some type of thermal camcorder but I don’t think I’ve been good enough this year to warrant receiving one of those…….

One of the best crypto related gifts I ever received was a Stanley 3′ power lock tape measure.  It was given to me so I could use it as a size indicator in photos of any large footprints I may find.  It is tiny and easily fits in my back pack or pocket.  It was actually one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever received.

This year I have on my list:

Bigfoot the holiday Yeti Christmas ornament

    Cryptozoo blocks shirt

The Kindle version of True Giants: is Gigantopithecus Still Alive

    Digital tape recorder

    Bigfoot Footprints Pair

Hmmm.  I think I just figured out why my family thinks I am weird.  🙂
