Yes Man Cometh

Posted by: Loren Coleman on March 27th, 2009

Yes Man is out on DVD on April 7, 2009.

Is the movie full of hidden messages?

The Hanging Man?

The Twin Towers?

The Hanging Chickens?

The Hand Signal?

The Red Bull and other scarlet jokes?

The All-Seeing Eyes?

The Zooey?

Bigfoot Lodge throughout?

“We are thrilled to have Bigfoot Lodge featured in Yes Man,” commented Cara Brechler, Operations Manager for The 1933 Group which owns Bigfoot and several other bars in Los Angeles. “With the 10th anniversary of Bigfoot coming up and the opening of our newest bar, Stinkers, our involvement in this Warner Bros. Film is exciting and timely.”

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.

  1. MountDesertIslander responds:

I’m not sure why “Yes Man” is a subject on this site. However, if you would like to dedicate a thread to crypto-Zooey-ology, I’d read that. Wow is that young woman beautiful.

  2. Loren Coleman responds:

MDI, it is all about cryptozoo-synchromystism. Peyton Reed, the director, is getting people ready for the ultimate future disclosure of all the secrets of Bigfoot, of course.

People should never stop looking for the messages hiding in plain sight.

    🙂

  3. Loren Coleman responds:

More will be understood about what I’m saying in the next half decade.

  4. tropicalwolf responds:

I agree with MountDesertIslander about the “relevance” issue of this post. However, I am willing to take Loren’s comment on faith. We’ll see what comes.

  5. olejason responds:

I don’t understand. Are you implying there is some grand bigfoot cover-up by Hollywood? Just a joke? *confused* haha

  6. Bob K. responds:

Mr. Coleman, I get the feeling that your two comments are:

    1) not just tongue in cheek, and

    2) that you know more than you’re letting on.

If I’m correct, then I believe that what you’re saying is a good thing.

If I’m not, than as Emily Litella used to say, “Never mind.”

  7. Loren Coleman responds:

Bob K’s statement #2 is correct, of course. But it is not a “cover-up” as olejason seems to be implying. As tropicalwolf says, “We’ll see what comes.”

I would just say, there are plenty of sound cryptozoological reasons for supporting the DVD sales of this film!
