Interdimensional Bigfoot Part 3

Posted by: Ken Gerhard on October 26th, 2016

(Respectfully) My continuing thoughts on ‘Inter-dimensional’ Bigfoot – First, a relevant quote from the father of cryptozoology, Dr. Bernard Heuvelmans – “Any information from the outside world received through our senses, when passing that part of the central nervous system sometimes called the ’emotional brain,’ is systematically distorted and completed according to deeply embedded mental stereotypes in such a way that it loses the frightening nature of the unknown, and, having thus become more familiar, is accepted without risk of harming the mind’s balance and comfort.” In other words, we all instinctively tend to filter and construct a paradigm that doesn’t upset the foundation of our belief systems. In other words, we are all unavoidably biased. This concept applies when attempting to explain a mind-boggling proposition such as Bigfoot. Those of us who are more spiritual (supernatural) and cosmic-minded (UFOs), may actually find it less upsetting that there are portal-traveling, telepathic ‘forest beings’ that will ultimately go back to wherever they came from… then to accept that there are giant, highly intelligent (and sometimes aggressive) apes inhabiting the wilderness areas on the very fringe of where we live.

Ah, yes. The hearing voices while being probed crowd.

Where’s dkonstruct? We need some jabroneys here!!

This reminds me of the Muppet Labs Gorilla Detector. I’m afraid that although the first post in this sequence was pretty good, they have gone downhill rapidly since then. It would NOT be more reassuring to think that a Sasquatch might open a supernatural portal in my bedroom closet; it is MUCH MORE reassuring to think it is a flesh-and-blood animal that can be killed by bullets, like a bear or a gorilla or a bison, and that it is more deterred by dangerous streets than by barriers of salt or sage.
