In the process, their heavy, Don, shares a story about being invited to leave the woods. Minerva Monster Day is a cryptid-themed, small town festival that centers around the subject of a famous Bigfoot-type creature said to live near the town. While last years’ event acted as the official premiere for the Small Town Monsters’ production, Minerva Monster, this one will see screenings of multiple films across a variety of unusual creature topics from Bigfoot to Loch Ness Monster. The Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event which will also play host to a speaking presentation from renowned museum curator, author and lecturer, Loren Coleman.

The Texas Bigfoot Research Center celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Original Texas Bigfoot Conference held on September 15, 2001 with this year’s event to be held the weekend of October 14-16, 2016. This is the official Texas Bigfoot Weekend as proclaimed by the mayor of Jefferson in 2005.

Colorado is home to a lot of wildlife. But Friday, visitors to Pikes Peak caught a glimpse of a mysterious creature that’s rarely spotted.
“Some visitors have spotted a brown creature going back and forth in the woods, kind of in this general area here,” said Brenda Wilson, a ranger on Pikes Peak Highway.

Ron Morehead has traveled the world doing research on the unexplained, undiscovered, and underexplored. He is recognized around the globe for the best Bigfoot/Sasquatch audio recordings known as the Sierra Sounds. Ron’s Research includes the scientific study of Bigfoot evidence, as well as the possibility of connections between Bigfoot and the skeletons found in Peru and Bolivia, the Love Lock Cave in Nevada, and also the Minaret Skull in California.
