Steve is a retired Law Enforcement Ranger, Mountain Rescue officer, and Fire Instructor. He himself has not seen a Sasquatch, but as a person who has spent most of his life due to his profession in the woods, he brings his unique perspective as a Ranger, to the subject of Sasquatch. His friend of 18 years, Darrell Handyside was working on Steve’s property in Colorado in 2001, when he saw an 8ft tall creature.

Craig is in the throes of working on his next movie, Crappy Little Dreams. An intensely personal look at two moped trips he’s taken that also happen to involve some Bigfooting.

Shadows in the Woods chronicles Maine’s rich Bigfoot record in Native American traditions and beliefs, Wild Man sightings, modern Bigfoot encounters, literary appearances of hairy man-like creatures, and strange somethings in tales and stories suggestive of Bigfoot.

Tonight I speak to Daniel S. Green, author of Shadows in the Woods: A Chronicle of Bigfoot in Maine. Maine has a very long history of Sasquatch sightings in the state, from mountain tops to people’s property near towns. Some of the first reports of Bigfoot in Maine was in the 1800’s, near the Mt. Katahdin area. The Indians from that region would call the Sasquatch there, “Pomoola” or “Injun Devil.”
