Truly Monstrous!

Posted by: Nick Redfern on June 18th, 2012

“An Indiana Monstrosity” was the headline that jumped out of the pages of the Chelan Falls Leader of November 5, 1891, and which described the discovery of a new-born puppy that “possessed the head of a human being”!

The article continues that: “Its body was shaped like a boa constrictor, and being of unusual length, it wound about in all conceivable forms…”

There’s much more, too – as you’ll see at this link – which makes me think that if not an outright hoax, this was simply a case of terrible deformity that got overly sensationalized by the media of the day.
