Bigfoot Researchers Declare 2013 “The Year of the Bigfoot”

Bigfoot researchers have noticed an increase in the quantity and quality of Bigfoot videos submitted to Facebook.com/FindBigfoot (FBFB). It’s only a matter of time before this species is discovered. FBFB declares 2013 “The Year of the Bigfoot.”

Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) November 16, 2012

Chinese New Year will celebrate 2013 as the “Year of the Snake” while Facebook/FindBigfoot (FBFB), the social network with 30,000+ Bigfoot enthusiasts, declares 2013 “The Year of Bigfoot.”

The number of Bigfoot sightings in the second half of 2012 has created quite a buzz among FBFB Fans, including a new Bigfoot video that entered the FBFB’s “Top 50 Bigfoot Videos” list at #2 behind the famous Patterson/Gimlin footage.

“The Camper” video was recorded in September 2012 using a mobile phone and shows a Bigfoot near a tree eating food from the campsite. “What’s so amazing about this new video is how close the Bigfoot is to the camper’s tent,” said Jack Barnes, Chief Video Analyst for FBFB. “A Bigfoot usually maintains maximum distance from humans, but this one couldn’t have been more than 25 feet away.”

The team at FBFB is encouraged by the number of new videos submitted to their social network. They’re confident that somebody will eventually capture indisputable proof of a Bigfoot on video. “With all the mobile phones and video out there, we’ve seen a spike in the quantity and quality of Bigfoot submissions,” Barnes said. “We want to celebrate 2013 as ‘The Year of Bigfoot’ to remind people that each video submitted helps our community to learn more about these amazing creatures.” Soon FBFB will announce its nominees for “Bigfoot Researcher of the Year”.

The FBFB community is a free social network for Bigfoot researchers and enthusiasts. The “Top 50 Bigfoot Videos” list is available for free viewing. Bigfoot enthusiast can also download FBFB’s book, You Are Sasquatch” from Amazon.com.

  1. Pete Fischer via Facebook responds:

Is this the year we are validated and change the face of science forever? When we prove that we have to stop thinking inside the box and that there are still mysterious things out in the world that defy both definition and imagination.

  2. semillama responds:

Is this FBFB’s press release for something besides their book? Speaking of that, has anyone published a review of the book yet?

  3. CDC responds:

    2013?

    3 options

    1. The bigfoot population is growing
    2. The bigfoot population remains the same
    3. The bigfoot population has decreased

If the population has increased, one should have been captured or killed by now

If the population is steady, then 2013 will be no different than any other year…same odds of finding one

If numbers have decreased, then the animals may be extinct or on the verge of extinction

Then there is the one more option I forgot…the animals do not exist

Patterson/Gimlin leads me to believe the animals are/were real…but lack of forensic evidence leads me to lean towards extinction at this point

One thing is for sure, in 2013 more of the original believers will pass away without knowing, and new believers will keep on hoping without knowing. Seems like a sad hobby

Sorry but each video submitted does not “help” our community when the vast majority of them are either fakes or of such poor quality that no information at all can be gleaned from them. A million blobsquatch videos and/or photos doesn’t really advance the science at all and gives the rest of the world more reason to label us as nut jobs.

  5. dconstrukt responds:

the video is interesting… but something about it makes me say bs…. the face just doesn’t seem real.

The guy narrating these videos is a trip… how does he know all this info about an animal that hasn’t been proven to exist? Some of the videos he expertly comments on have been proven to be fakes too… #faceplant

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
