Nothing comes out of eyes when they are working. This does not include emotion, which can be painfully clear in a creatures’ eyes. We, or at least most of us have seen dishonesty and other things in a persons’ eyes before, it’s not the same thing.
Equally as often we are guilty of mis-reading a person’s expression or imposing that which we wish to believe upon their face. I have imposed certain feelings upon the face of others many times myself.
See? We skeptics are as fallible as the rest of you, it cannot accurately be denied. That is why we know all too well the fallacies and horrible biases that effect our ability to make rational decisions and form reasonable conclusions, because we see these things in ourselves long before we see them in others.
We learn SO much about the subjects of belief, of confirmation bias, of antiquity fallacy and a lot more.
Light enters our eyes and the images are recorded within, that’s how it works with our eyes and with cameras. a coloured light beaming majestically from a being’s eyes, which is not simply the reflection of light from another source is unknown in nature, unknown in all of shown science.
I understand that many people distrust science and the value of well designed, well controlled testing, so here is your chance. If anyone thinks that I am wrong, right, or somewhere in-between … i’m keen to know what you think …

    All the best

Scaly, I honestly have no idea what you just said, but for the record, scientifically, it is highly unlikely that a Bigfoot, assumably a primate, human hybrid or otherwise, would have eye shine:

  3. NMRNG responds:

Mandors, I believe what scaly1 was doing is known as “waxing pharmaceutically …” er… I mean “philosophically.”

  4. thescaly1 responds:

While my unplanned and off-the-cuff comment may have seemed rambling, even ‘waxing’ (thank you NMRNG), it still surprises me that nothing at all could be gained by others from it.
Now that I think about it, both of you are right, my best comments are the best planned and clearest in meaning, not my first comment on this thread.

    All the best

PS: While I am here, I must also thank our hosts at this site for tastefully editing my comments occasionally … or somewhere between occasionally and half of the time.
While I still do not fully understand the reason for some of these edits, this is their site and I am just pleased that even an edited version of my comments will be published, they are giving me voice even when not entirely appreciating my wording.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
