Update: Border Patrol Finds and Photographs a Sasquatch?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on June 27th, 2011

As several Cryptomundians have commented in the original post, the original article has been edited to remove all mention of Tom Biscardi.

I had not even quoted all of what was said about him in the article.

Here is the entire passage that was edited out:

Tom Biscardi, one of the world’s most famous Bigfoot investigators, puts the number of sightings on tribal lands in the thousands, and he investigated a lot of them. “I’ve got a great relationship with the tribes. I’m their main contact when it comes to Bigfoot,” he says.

This month, in fact, he went on a 12-day expedition in Indian country. He spent a few days on the Blackfeet reservation, following up on a sighting near the U.S.-Canadian border. Tracks had been found by a helicopter crew doing border security and checking snow levels. The footprints were followed to a cave, where they got a glimpse of the Sasquatch. Though bad weather prevented Biscardi from getting up to the cave, he did see photos taken of the hairy giant. He tried to buy the pictures, but the photographer would not give them up. “To them, they’re real and they’re sacred,” Biscardi says.

After Montana, he traveled to Farmington, New Mexico, to follow up on sightings reported by two young Navajo brothers who had discovered 25 footprints on the side of a hill. The youth had come on Biscardi’s radio program (BigFoot Live Radio Show), after local Bigfoot organizations failed to check out their reports, and begged him to come out.

“I believe, if we ever find one of these creatures, it will be on tribal land,” he says. “I really believe it because of the habitat—it’s their sanctuary.”Michelle Tirado

And here is another source of the unedited article, the Montana Wyoming Tribal Leaders Council website, who apparently hasn’t gotten the notice to edit the article yet.

Check it out quick before they do.

Here’s a few more links to the original article, they can’t get them all…

hahahaha….thanks for sharing Craig….don’t ya just love creative editing? Seems to be going around a lot lately when it comes to bigfoot.

  2. Redrose999 responds:

I think they are worried that it will be assumed to be a hoax, which is will, when Biscardi’s name is involved. I feel sorry for the Native American community there, it sounds in the original article that they were snubbed until someone out of desperation, when to Tom the devilhimself Biscardi.

We’ll see what will happen over time though. Not much hope in this. There is the off chance Biscardi had his name edited out just to make it sound more legit. Though since he is a press monger, I would think it’s unlikely.

  3. flame821 responds:

It is sad that someone can so sully their name and reputation that the mere mention of said name can make us collectively roll our eyes and say ‘pass’. But he brought this on himself with all the antics he’s pulled over the years.

I am glad that the Indian Country Today Media Network took his name out though, especially if THEY feel this is a real sighting. Unfortunately having Biscardi’s name associated with anything at this point is counter-productive in the extreme.

  4. Mïk responds:

Ok, aside from the stench of Biscardi in this article, there’s a pictures of sasqutch/bigfoot in existence? Have they been posted anywhere? CAN I SEE THEM? To hell with the Biscardi bashing…he’s old news; where do we see the pictures?!?

  5. CBFResearcher responds:

As soon as you see Tom Biscardi involved with anything to do with Bigfoot, walk away. He has on more than one occasion misled the public with his claims. The last major one he was involved in was the ape suit in the freezer trick which gained nationwide publicity. Sorry Tom, but one too many hoaxes on your part only make you an expert in BS and public relations. Selling coffee mugs with bigfoot does not make you an expert.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
