Derek Randles Has The Sierra Kills’ Bodies?

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on November 30th, 2012

Derek Randles refutes the claim by Robert that either he or Wally Hersom are in possession of the Bigfoot bodies on facebook.

This assertion was made by Robert Lindsay on his blog that Loren linked to here on Cryptomundo: Getting Worse and Worse ~ New Claim: “They’ve Got The Bodies”.

FYI!! Got to vent. I will say this very clearly. I do not have any BF bodies. Wally Hersom does not have any BF bodies. To my knowledge, no bodies were ever recovered at the Sierra site. Approx 2.5 lbs of flesh was recovered at the site. A piece of flesh was cut off the recovered piece and given to, and signed over to me. I submitted that sample to the Ketchum DNA study. My organization The Olympic Project also submitted many other samples as well. Yes, I did the initial investigation with Justin, and yes I did work with him for quite a while, and he worked with me doing camera work in the area. After his reluctance to stop doing interviews I choose to stop working with him. He is still my friend to this day. I did organize a recovery effort several months later with Jeff Meldrum and others. The area was extensively searched by myself, other Olympic Project members, Bobo, Bart Cutino and others. The only thing recovered on that trip was a bone fragment with some hair on it. These are the facts, so help me God. You see, I’m an extremely honest person, and any of you that have worked with me know this to be true. I conduct my research with integrity, never embellishing or exaggerating anything. There are a lot of people spreading a lot of lies for lack of something better to do. I just wanted to clear this up…again. Thanks Robert and Shawn.

As far as the Ketchum DNA study is concerned, Myself and The Olympic Project are a large part of it, and we stand behind the study and Melba 100%. I’m very thankful she’s devoted years of her life to help recognize and identify the Sasquatch. People can agree or disagree with her findings, that’s cool, but the rudeness and sarcasm certainly doesn’t have to be there. Sometimes this feels like middle school. Funny thing is, all this will very soon be going mainstream, and I for one really hope that a lot of us can come together collectively and do our best to work together and learn from each other. We would all like the world to take us more seriously wouldn’t we? I know I would. If you took the time to read this, thank you.Derek Randles

well one thing i must admit is i have never seen a chunk of flesh as big as their “steak” that just flew off on its own while i was hunting.. not even with deer slugs… so I must admit the whole recovered flesh steak has never made a lot of sense to me..
Another thing that puzzles me is why anyone cares what robert lindsay says? hes obviously just a blow hard with no skillz/background in this field so what does it matter what he says? just roll your eyes and move on.. simple.

I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of the Bigfoot/cryptid community uniting together over blind faith in someone’s words.

Many of us just can’t stop thinking critically. We are going to question and demand to see the peer review, and we are going to question where and who the information is coming from.

Since I’ve been here on Cryptomundo, I lurked shortly after it went up, Cryptomundians have always questioned everything that is shown. The cryptid community has been burned, there are hoaxers, and PT Barnums who toss out “evidence” whenever they want attention or to make a buck. And those of us who are critical thinkers question everything in order to weed out the bad and give credit where it is due, to the hard working honest researchers working the field, not for fame, but like the naturalists before them, to learn a little more about the world they live in (whether it is bigfoot, or a frog, over even a new plant, it is about discovery and a celebration of curiosity)

I will happily eat crow if this mess all turns out to be legit, but I won’t blindly follow and toss in my hopes only to discover Bobo in a freezer in a bigfoot suit eating steaks.

Seems Lindsay’s got his fingers in a lot of pies. I found interesting and enlightening his comments on Ketchum’s Xian fundamentalism possibly bleeding over into the conclusions of the report (along with the friction and subsequent falling out with Stubstadt it caused). Then the multiple rewrites to make it palatable to the mainstream… I’ve long suspected something like this, but did not have the specific details he supplies. One of my favorite comments of his, when asked if Ketchum is insane: “It’s true that she is a deeply religious fundamentalist Christian. However, that’s not in the DSM yet.”

As far as the DNA itself goes, the results themselves likely indicate some things that the mainstream will find hard to swallow… on top of that, a lot of them will first have to choke down the big fat crow sitting on their plate for refusing to admit even the possibility of the existence of Bigfoot. Cat’s out of the bag now and he’s not going back…

Sorry buddy, you can’t get decent DNA off an actual chunk of flesh, it’s got to come from a blueberry bagel or the results won’t be scientific enough thus making the chunk of flesh worthless. Geez everybody knows that!

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
