Global Warming Causing Decline in Bigfoot Population?

But an increase in chupacabras?

MSNBC News interviews Ben Radford of the Skeptical Inquirer about how climate change affects Bigfoot.

My appearance last year on MSNBC talking about how climate change might theoretically affect unknown animals such as Bigfoot, and why global warming is partially responsible for the increase in “chupacabra” reports in the United States…

Paul Erlich! Utterly discredited. Global warming (aka: “c…c…climate change”

OH MY GOD! The only reason we have the descriptor, “climate” is BECA– USE IT HAS ALWAYS CHANGED. If it never changed, the word “climate” would not exist.

GET A GRIP, people. It has always changed, and it always will. My jaw hangs down to the effing FLOOR at people (many of them scientists) who act as if it’s a stupendous revelation that climate ACTUALLY CHANGES! I want to put diapers on ’em and cuddle the poor creatures.

  2. semillama responds:

My jaw hangs to the floor that you don’t understand why the current climate change episode is so dangerous, Goodfoot. If you think Bigfoot exists, then it’s legitimate to try and understand how the incredibly rapid climate change that is occurring as a result of human activity pumping greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere may impact the creature’s habitat and activities. Biologists across the globe are observing changes directly linked to accelerated warming in multiple species and it would be foolish to assume a large mammal such as Sasquatch is purported to be would not also be effected. I would imagine that the California wildfires would have quite a negative impact on any population of the creature, if it exists, just like it is effecting known animals.

  3. Goodfoot responds:

RE: “greenhouse gasses”; “gasses” is a present-tense VERB. The plural of “gas” is “gases”.

  4. cryptokellie responds:

Man-made Global Warming is a hoax perpetrated on an under-educated public by government grant seeking “scientists”, wealth exchange promoting UN officials and washed up politicians. The climate models used to project warming trends are loaded with padded at best and falsified at worse climate information. The California wildfires were burning bright in 1975 too, when climate scientists were warning about the eminent threat of Global Cooling and the coming new Ice Age. A complete reversal of global climate predictions in only 40 years. The Earth’s climate has been changing and evolving for a couple of billion years. Where does 40 years of anything fit in or more to the point, the 120 years of Industrial Age when compared to the hundreds of millions if not billions of climate change years…honestly. Due some research about the Earth’s past and the vastly changing environments that have occurred over the eons.
