New Loch Ness Monster Video

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on March 18th, 2015

Tourist Connie Ross says she saw a big disturbance quite a way out in the Loch and it had a big black object in the middle of it.

Thousands of tourists flock to Loch Ness every year hoping to see the elusive monster – or even better – get a photograph of it.

So when a black hump emerged from the dark waters of Britain’s biggest loch, as Connie Ross and her daughter Reyshell Avellanoza were taking pictures, the opportunity was too good to miss.

But the pair were so mesmerised for those vital few seconds, their chance of capturing a rare close-up image of the Nessie phenomenon, was gone.

No trip to the Highlands would be complete without a tour of Urquhart Castle and the chance to see the loch’s shy occupant.

Connie said: “Campbell drove us down to the loch last Tuesday. He stayed in the car park, and my daughter and granddaughter walked down to go round the Castle and then take pictures by the loch-side.

“It was about 1.30pm in the afternoon and I had my still camera. Reyshell had her tablet and we were taking pictures when Heather pointed out something in the water.

“She said it looked like a big black belly. We looked and could see this big disturbance quite a way out and this big black object in the middle of it.

    eh…. nothing to really see.

but everything people see in the loch is obviously the monster…. gotta be right? lol 🙂

I do like to give benefit’s doubt when I can. However, too many times people see things that may not be critters.

The video footage, while it shows something–there is a lot of other water activity going on behind the “black belly” suggesting that there could be undercurrents rolling and so on. There is a lot of underwater wave activity that goes on at Loch Ness–the whole seiche wave phenomenon for starters.

On the other hand, the witnesses said they saw a “big black object” in the center of the disturbance. Now that didn’t really show up in the footage, but people do sometimes see more than what the camera picks up. That being said, sometimes we see more than what is really there.

In spite of all that, I think the best conclusion is . . . wait for it . . . this is NOT final proof of Nessie. I know, disappoints the heck out of me too…doesn’t mean I’ve given up however.

  3. David-Australia responds:

These sightings tend to come in “waves” . . .

  4. Dr Kaco responds:

Not bad. Not errr Nessie for sure but it’s kinda cool.

  5. Peter Von Berg responds:

    This is just total BS

  6. PhotoExpert responds:

I understand the excitement from the people filming that video and taking photos.

I too get excited when I see a a small school of bigger fish starting to break the surface as they feed. That’s because I am a fisherman and know what I am viewing.

Unfortunately, these people are not fisherman and are at Loch Ness. So anything they never witnessed before in the water, has to be Nessie! Right?

Nothing to see here, unless you are like me and are an avid fisherman.

  7. BigfootBeliever71 responds:

Based on how the observers were reacting, they weren’t seeing Nessie. If that had been a plesiosaur, I’m certain they would have reacted in a more animated and excited fashion. They act like they were walking away from a parade that they’ve seen numerous times.
