Oh Momma! That Bigfoot Capsized My Fishing Boat!

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on December 2nd, 2016

Yes, that Bigfoot capsized my boat, and with me and my fiance’ at the time in it. Here is our story of getting too close to Bigfoot while fishing in Central Oregon a little over 5 years ago.

My fiance’ and I are avid fishermen. We love to travel all over the Pacific Northwest to fish, and even head out to do some deep sea fishing from time to time. However, our favorite is fly fishing in either lakes or rivers.

What we came across one day, however, was amazing, scary at first, but amazing, and eventually, we saw it as well! Here is the story of Bigfoot capsizing our boat…

I live about 2 hours from Linton Lake……It’s a” hike in lake”…No roads to it…It’s about 1 and a half mile hike from the trail head…It also is a trout only lake; no bass or crappie…….I don’t think this person has ever been to Linton Lake….

  2. RandyS responds:

As WorkinStiff pointed out, you have to hike into Linton Lake. Any simple online check will bring up dozens of sites mentioning Linton Lake, and nearly every one of them mentions the lake in connection with hiking. There is no driving in and parking by the lake.
