Slovenian Sasquatch Caught on Video

Posted by: Craig Woolheater on July 16th, 2013

Unbelievable… I missed 2 Bigfoots while walking by on close distance… I only recently discovered these impressive creatures on some old material. Filmed in the Forests of Šnickltj, known for it’s Bigfoot sightings. Slovenia 2005.

Sorry for the crappy quality..ProfessorDrock

Shame about the quality, tree stumps would be my guess.

  2. etheral responds:

    I don’t know about a Bigfoot, but I definitely heard a fart at :33 seconds. 😀

  3. Ploughboy responds:

    Please.

  4. PhotoExpert responds:

OMG! Now rocks and tree trunks are Bigfoots.

I saw several hundred Bigfoots in that video then!

The first one, due to the incredible clarity of the video (biting sarcasm), was certainly not a rock or tree stump.

And the second one, which at first had the appearance of separation and looked like legs, was a tree trunk with flowering grass in front of it. As videographer walked past the second tree trunk, the pareidolia effect came into play. The separation of what would have been two legs comes into psychological focus as being a tree trunk.

People really need to stop going back over old video and photos and looking for Bigfoot in those images. Their time would be better spent looking at clouds to see if there are bunnies or dogs in the cloud formations. Basically, it is the same thing but at least they would be outdoors and experiencing something new.

    Very sad!!!

  5. cryptokellie responds:

OK, another class of sightings has been added…the Stumpsquatch.

The poor quality is really hampering this one but…you mean to tell me that the videographer walks almost within arms length of a real Bigfoot and only notices this when he later reviews the footage, get real. I’m reminded of when Abbot and Costello aren’t aware that there’s a gorilla in the room with them. Lets grow up and stop playing “Where’s Waldo” the Bigfoot edition.

Seriously, do people get points or something for doing this on the web? A lot of people have way too much time on their hands.

  6. shmargin responds:

    Tree stumps and tree branches.

I also find it hard to believe Bigfoot would be hanging out motionless near what is clearly a well marked and well used trail. This is an elusive create few have seen, doubt he would be right where humans always are.

Also congrats on finding a camera that bad in 2013. My son has a toy video camera with ninja turtles on it that takes better video then this.

  7. Cryptidcrazy responds:

That’s just a tree and some shadowing.

  8. hoodoorocket responds:

I for one give this video a thumbs up, if only for the fact that the end loop makes it look like a bigfoot humping a tree.

Other than that, looks like a lovely well blazed scenic trail in a country that takes a very lenient view of illicit distillation of hard liquor. Sounds like a fantasy vacation to me.

I once tried unsuccessfully to import some Brinjavec from Slovenia. I guess maybe I’ll have to go over there and get it. After sampling it, I’ll report back whether or not I saw a stumpsquatch humping a tree.

  9. alan borky responds:

cryptokellie “OK, another class of sightings has been added…the Stumpsquatch.”

You’re only sayin’ that crypto ’cause this video’s go’ y’stumped!

    hahahahehehe!

Sayin’ tha’ the bit ringed red on the initial runthrough [ring 1] ain’t the bit ringed red in the replay [ring 2].

Ring 1’s round what appears to be part of the roots of a partially dead/dying tree on a raised hummock.

Ring 2’s round what appears to be a huge sheet of bark shed by its tree either as a result of disease [something personally witnessed] or as a result of animal based vandalism [I personally watched in a mixture of amazement and horror a bulldog/boxer cross being encouraged by local Scouse kids in a nearby park to deliberately use one of its lower canines almost like a can opener to attack several trees by first gouging them open then running round them keeping the fang in place until huge sheets of bark eventually spiralled and dropped off].

In short Craig you’d have to be barking to accept this video as proof of Sasquatch.

  10. dconstrukt responds:

    ROFLMAO!

the title for this post SHOULD have been Slovenian JABRONI shoots fake bigfoot on video.

like really? a bigfoot is within arms distance and you just walk by it? cmon man… we need to kick the jabroni who made this off the internet.

Nothing here folks, other than losing a few minutes of your life watching some cronie posting ANOTHER fake bigfoot video. (and a crappy one at that)

  11. springheeledjack responds:

I got nothin’…the vids just keep getting goofier and goofier…

  12. AreWeThereYeti responds:

@ the videographer: What did you use to record this? Your toaster, maybe? How can anyone, anywhere, take such poor quality video in this day and age?!!

@ PhotoExpert: “Pareidolia” it is. Thank you for saving me from banging my noggin against the wall in frustration! “Anthropomorphism” kept going through my head but didn’t quite describe what was happening there.

@ cryptokellie: “Stumpsquatch” says it all. Good call!

  13. Raiderpithicusblaci responds:

Greetings, all. Botanical Bigfoots aside, Craig, can we have another look at the Redwoods footage?

  14. volmar responds:

Q: What was a Sasquatch doing in Slovenia?
A: He was wearing a tree stump costume on a video.

  15. Goodfoot responds:

    shmargin:

I know, I feel the same way. I don’t think you CAN make a video that bad without smearing something on the lens.

Is it possible to tell if that’s even Slovenia?

  16. porkchop48 responds:

Its garbage like this that give squatchers a bad name.

  17. cryptokellie responds:

    BREAKING…
This is a video of the seldom seen tree creature called a Tabonga which was well documented to inhabit small South Sea islands in the late 1950’s. A film was made about the occurrence of one such creature entitled “From Hell It Came”. Apparently they have migrated to Eastern Europe where they seem to be living a somewhat more peaceful existence.
