Bigfooter Warren Thompson Passes Away

Sad news passed on by Larry Lund.

Just to let you know, that my friend of over twenty years, Warren Thompson of Redwood City, California, passed away this morning at 11:00AM.. I will try and contact you all soon with more of the circumstances. For those of you who knew Warren, I send my deep sympathy’s and for those of you who didn’t, you missed an opportunity to have a great friend.All The Best, Larry Lund, Mar 20, 2013

Warren Thompson was one of the founding members of the Bay Area Group, along with Archie Buckley and George Haas.

Archie passed away in 2007. See his obituary published here and here on Cryptomundo.

The Bay Area Group was featured in the In Search Of episode entitled “Monster Hunters” with Leonard Nimoy.

    On another note, it was fascinating to see Peter Byrne talking to Tim Dinsdale. I never knew they even met.
