Vintage Bigfoot Photos

After my grandfather passed away I found two old photos he took out in the wild that showed a family of Bigfoot. He never said anything about these photos to anyone. He spent a lot of time hiking with his dog at the nearby state lands that was around 10,000 acres of forests in New York State. He was not the type that would joke around about seeing a Bigfoot

Ooooh, dramatic music, it must be real. Not.

The figure is identical in both “pictures.” The only thing changed is size and color. The “pair” in the first photo is really just two different sized images of the same figure. The hunting image is just a resized, darkened paste of that same figure.

Photoshop. Though, I would like to know where the shopped image of the Bigfoot came from. It kind of looks familiar. Anyone… Bueller?

  2. Peter Von Berg responds:

OK, I’ve figured this out now. It’s not that pictures of Bigfoot are blurry, it’s that the species Bigfoot itself is blurry looking. Yes, that must be it. And while I’ve had my doubts, the mysterious and spooky music has made a believer of me. So now whenever I hear spooky music I’ll know instantly that the pictures are genuine.

  3. KernalPanic responds:

Mandors is correct…even the small white space near the left hand is identical. This kind of stuff is so obviously fake it’s painful.

Finding Bigfoot has become so boring and predictable too. Same old formula with some weird “facts” like: “Bigfoot keeps coyotes for pets”. Just stop that, it’s embarrassing to serious Bigfoot hunters that aren’t actually getting paid to roam around a wooded area and clack sticks together.

I suggest you get your keesters up a canyon, let’s say in northern New Mexico (Valle Vidal) and walk in about 4+ hours and stay there all night. As soon as it begins to rain or even sprinkle you always seem to call it a night…really? And viewers NEVER get to hear what the BFRO hears. We just see their faces looking all goofy yelling to each other, “did you hear that?!!” and my answer is always the same…No, no I didn’t.

Take these shows with a grain of salt, there’s very little if any validity to them. The same applies to any pictures.

  4. NMRNG responds:

The person posting that video has been on YouTube for 10 years and claims to have 25 years experience in pest control. He has one recent video about the world’s biggest wasp and several others about controlling insect infestations. Nothing to indicate either credibility or an obvious hoaxer, except that comments have been disabled, presumably to avoid having people point out the obvious problems with this video.

However, anyone who genuinely possessed such photos would have take a video of the photos with a closeup to show age of the alleged photos beyond just the fact that they are black and white, and then turned them over to show Gramps’ alleged writing on the back. The video obviously does not contain such proof. I too thought Mandors criticism was spot-on – definitely Photoshopped.

  5. dconstrukt responds:

no disrespect to the dude and his “grandpa”… but if we take the PG film to be legit, then everything has to be based off what we know one should look like…

and the “thing” in these photos looks nothing like it.

    so IMO its not real.

  6. Goodfoot responds:

    KernalPanic:

Yeah, the Valle Vidal would be a great place. Wild, pure place, although there are people living there. Not many, though. Want no people? The Jemez Caldera, scene of 1 or 2 previous BFRO expeditions. Even the Fernando Mountains; I was with a friend on a high logging road, and something very large could be heard crashing through the woods, pacing us.

  7. springheeledjack responds:

Not to mention the fact that in both photos the “bigfeet” are not moving or in mid-stride as I’d expect if you happened upon an animal or Bigfoot in the woods, but are “posed” as if they’re standing for a pic.

Good catch on both images being the same–that’s exactly what it is.

I wish people would find something better to do with their time . . .

  8. KernalPanic responds:

    @Goodfoot

As far as I know, there is no one living in the Valle Vidal because it’s part of the Carson National Forest. Although, there are many old and new buildings peppered throughout used mainly by rangers, BLM and Boy Scouts of America. The alpine meadow near the Shuree ponds is a great place to search.

I bought a cabin near the Ghost town of Dawson and have had a few interesting things happen when I slept overnight in the Dawson Cemetery. I spend 3 to 7 months a year searching Northern NM.

Also try the Cimarron Canyon, in Particular the Maverick trail. We took a left at the top (Blackjack Trail) and there was a big tree blocking the trail and when I attempted to climb over it…knocking. This trail leads to Bear Lake. Also, try Clear Creek Trail and follow the creek till you get to the giant boulder. Go beyond the boulder, it’s very interesting. A woman took a hike down this trail and is still missing. Also I found a deer with it’s legs twisted off beyond that boulder.

Capulin Volcano, the area below and around it is also a great place to search. This is where the very first primitive man (Folsom Man), campsite was found. Raton has many sightings as well.

The Jemez Mountains are very cool as well. My stay last year included the Jemez area and it’s breathtaking.
