Vendors wanted for Bigfoot-themed fest

What could lure Bigfoot into the open to silence skeptics for good?

Perhaps an all-day music fest with a Bigfoot theme in Whitehall (NY).

If you have a business that fits in with the theme of the show, there’s still vendor space available.

Matt Smith, organizer of Bigfest 2014 said non-food vendors and tattoo artists are sought.

Doors open at 11 a.m. July 12 at The Whitehall Athletic Club, 62 Poultney St.

Music starts at noon and goes until 11:30 p.m.

The cost is $50 per vendor table and tattoo artists can get a private room for the day $100.

Anyone interested should call The Whitehall Athletic Club at 499-0134 or visit www.whitehallathleticclub.com

The eight bands set to perform include the following:

The Erotics, Hungry Jack, Phillips Head’s Jason Irwin, The Skenesborough Renegades, Echo, The Led Zeppelin Tribute Band “A Whole Lotta Zeppelin” (featuring Jonathan Newell), Motorhead Tribute band — Motorhome, And The Voodoo Council featuring Bob and Todd from Shu.

There also will be a freak show /side show by “Tattoo Ugly Len Oddity.”

Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 day of the show . The venue is providing food, soda and beer for those who can prove they’re 21 and older with valid identification.
