Animal Planet Watch

Posted by: Loren Coleman on May 21st, 2009

The forthcoming 2009-2010 television season has been published.

On Animal Planet, a few specials seem worthy of watching.

In 2nd quarter, the two-hour special “Beasts of the Bible” reveals the surprising originals of mysterious beasts and investigates the strangest creatures found in the Bible. “Animal Armageddon” presents a history of life on Earth, focusing on the immediate period of time before, during and after mass extinctions.

In a 4th quarter two-hour special, “Werewolves” hypothesizes the lives of werewolves, from how they live among humans to how they transform into wolves.

The Book of Werewolves by Sabine Baring-Gould is a new classic in hardback from a cryptozoology series from Cosimo Books.

Also, on Animal Planet, the series “Lost Tapes” returns with a clearer acknowledgment of their cryptofiction mission, and the use of factoid snippets in their episodes.

🙂 Thank You.

  2. cliff responds:

Loren – Do you have any approximate dates for the 2nd quarter “Beasts of the Bible” and 4th quarter “Werewolves” airing?

Those episodes look interesting, also looks like someone got to have some fun on a nice field trip for the airing of “Beasts of the Bible”.

  3. Loren Coleman responds:

Dates are unknown to me. Sorry.

I shall travel anywhere in the pursuit of continued educational opportunities on behalf of cryptozoology, or for more information and knowledge to be collected about cryptids.

Want to hire me for an illustrated presentation or to assist with a level-headed documentary, please contact me!

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
