Further on Fayette Factor

Posted by: Loren Coleman on June 11th, 2012

Eric Altman is in the midst of a new 2012 cryptid investigation in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, again. More on that soon. But in the meantime…there’s the matter of that name, in general. Search the archives at Cryptomundo to discover “Fayette” variations turn up a lot in sightings.

Over the weekend, I revisited the “Fayette Factor,” with a flashback revision and image updates, at my Twilight Language blog, for those interested in that “name game.”

“In the southwest angle of Arkansas is a Bigfoot hotspot that has been immortalized–in America, at least– by the (1974) movie The Legend of Boggy Creek. The critters have been known hereabouts since 1856, centering their activities lately upon the town of Fouke in Miller County and ranging eastward into Lafayette County.” ~ Jim Brandon (author of Weird America and The Rebirth of Pan)

Fayette, Maine, is a hotspot of weird reports for the Pine Tree State. What have you noticed about your “Fayette” locations?

I can’t believe you posed this question, Loren, for my personal squatch sighting came right next to Lafayette Campground.

  2. PoeticsOfBigfoot responds:

LaFayette, TX, is in Upshur County, where quite a few Bigfoot sightings have been reported. Its population is down to about 45 people or so, I think.
