Henriksen Handles Bigfoot (Again)

Devil on the Mountain

Over at Dread Central, the Foywonder mentions a new movie to be screened in September:

That Lance Henriksen must really dig Bigfoot. Every time you turn around ol’ Lance is turning up in a Sasquatch movie. He already survived Sasquatch, wasn’t so lucky in Abominable, and now he’s bracing for a rubber match with Bigfoot in Devil on the Mountain.

The action happens in the Arizona mountains. Will Lance Henriksen make it out alive?

One thing is for certain, Lance Henriksen deserves enshrinement in the Sasquatch Cryptofiction Cinema Hall of Fame some day!

By the way, the movie’s original title has been changed from Devil on the Mountain to Sasquatch Mountain.

The Sci-Fi Channel premiere of Sasquatch Mountain is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2006, at 9 Eastern/8 Central with a midnight repeat to follow and another replay the following Wednesday night also at 9 Eastern/8 Central.

Visit Dread Central for more details on the motion picture, who else is starring in it, and who is directing it.

It should be noted that Lance Henriksen worked with Dan Callahan (who played "C.J." in The Mothman Prophecies) in a movie called Madhouse in 2004. That is one degree of separation from

Mothman.

Thanks to Jason Pritchett for notice of this new movie and the note on Lance Henriksen’s "Mothman Degrees of Separation." But as Jason noted, working with Lance’s links is easy as he’s a plebeian version of Kevin Bacon.

Loren Coleman About Loren Coleman

Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct). Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015. Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.
