Cryptozoologist’s Wife Vanishes (Feb. 16th: Still Missing)

Posted by: Loren Coleman on February 16th, 2012

As of Thursday afternoon, Lar’s wife, Jeanett Rask, 48, is still missing (Danish news account about the disappearance is here and there is a CFZ update.) .

CFZ is reporting that they have heard from Lars Thomas on Tuesday morning, Valentine’s Day. There is still no news. Lars made an appeal on Danish TV last night, and said that “today she is on the websites of the three biggest newspapers in Denmark, […] and tomorrow her picture will be on the frontpage of our two biggest tabloids.”

++++++++++

From Feb. 12th:

Zoologist and cryptozoologist Lars Thomas of Copenhagen, Denmark, has scary news and needs your help.

Jeanett on left.

We are working with the CFZ to get this message out:

On Friday, Feb. 10th, Lars Thomas’s wife Jeanett left home. She was only meant to be gone a few hours, but she has disappeared.

There has been no contact from her.

Lars has contacted the police, but asks: “Please, if you know, or have heard anything, let me know.”

I would suggest that Mr. Thomas be as helpful to police as possible, hire a private investigator, form a search party to look near wooded areas, abandoned houses and even cars for his wife. If she has a computer and/or diary it may hold clues as well as any ATM cards or credit cards she may have had on her as to her whereabouts.

She may be lost or stranded somewhere possibly injured as well. Like in a ditch or area near a road.

Google: How to search for a missing person as well.

Hope this helps and that she is found safe.

  2. Christopher Chipp via Facebook responds:

Sorry to read about this, I hope she is found and that she is ok.

  3. Desertdweller responds:

What a terrible situation! My heart goes out to Lars.

By chance, did she have a cell phone on her? I have heard that cell phones can be located by triangulation as long as they are turned on.

  4. Hapa responds:

    Suspicious…

My Prayers go out to the family.

  5. Sune responds:

It is frustrating and sad. I sincerely hope there will be a happy end! According to Danish newspapers, no new developments Monday late afternoon.

    A fellow Dane.

  6. Sune responds:

    – by the way, she did not have a cell phone on her, which of course could have helped. It is, fortunately, not common for people to disappear like that here. However, we often don’t hear about it, when it does happen, but Jeanett is the wife of Lars who is well-known here. Most disappearances have a happy end.

  7. choppedlow responds:

My heart goes out to this family. I hope that this turns out in a good way.

  8. Opalman responds:

    Lars,
Our heartfelt prayers and supplication to Almighty God that your wife will be found healthy and in good spirits. Be patient and rest in Christ.

  9. flame821 responds:

Has there been any news since Thursday? My best thoughts and hopes for the family. I hope she is found safe and soon. I can’t imagine the pain and worry this is causing for her friends and family.

Sorry. Comments have been closed.
