Mothman and Name Game in Chile

Mothman by Andy Finkle.
Were there historical Mothman sightings in Chile in 1987?
The Journal of Hispanic Ufology, Inexplicata, on September 12, 2012, appears to be hinting as such in a new article, “Chile: The Mothman Visits La Serena?”
“The strange winged being was resting on a power line, and at a given moment, it issued a loud squawk that spread panic among the witnesses, causing many of them to hurriedly abandon the area.”
Is the name game being played with “Serena”?
Serena is a feminine given name, derived from the Latin word serenus, meaning “clear, tranquil, serene”. This name was borne by an obscure early saint, Saint Serena of Rome. Serena, cousin of main character Samantha Stephens in Bewitched; both roles were played by Elizabeth Montgomery. From the Twilight series, Serena is a human/vampire hybrid. She is the first daughter of Joham, the oldest half-sister of Maysun, Nahuel, and Jennifer, and the first known hybrid in existence.
