Happy 48th Patty!

Happy Patty’s Day! We’ll never be able to completely rule out the possibility that it is one of the great hoaxes of all time. But, watch this stabilized version of the film (credit M.K. Davis) and note the natural movements of the subject despite its great mass… the proportions of various body parts compared to a human’s… its muscles seemingly flexing, etc.

Then factor in a number of corroborating footprints that were cast following the event, the unwavering testimony of witness Bob Gimlin and subsequent analysis by experts including Dr. Grover Krantz, Dr. Jeff Meldrum, Dr. Dmitri Donskoy and Bill Munns. Finally, watch Planet of the Apes movie from 1968 for comparison. Pretty compelling stuff!

  1. Goodfoot responds:

As much as I like the Paul Freeman footage, this is still the best. The stabilized footage is spectacular. If you’re still out there, here’s to you with your walking stick, Patty!
