Back from the Texas Bigfoot Conference

Well, what can we say….the best laid plans of mice and men…..often go awry. We intended to give a daily recap of the events from the Texas Bigfoot Conference this past weekend, but time and technology conspired against us. The only public broadband in town was at the local coffee shop, which locked its doors at 10 pm. If you have ever been to a gathering of this sort, you would know that there is no way to break free from the bull sessions before the wee hours of the morning.

I, along with my blogmates Loren & Rick, will be posting our thoughts, photos and other bit’s o’ trivia here throughout the coming days. We had spectacular media coverage, from CNN to the AP. With that being said, I will leave you with some links to various articles written about the event.

Daryl Colyer, lead field researcher for the Texas Bigfoot Research Center, delivers the kickoff presentation Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at the Texas Bigfoot Conference in Jefferson, Texas. Hundreds gathered Saturday at the fifth annual Texas Bigfoot Conference to look at casts of footprints and hear about the latest sightings and other evidence they say proves Bigfoot exists.
