Jim Snell, co-organizer with Tom Biscardi of the Paris, Texas Bigfoot Expedition offered the following in response to the comments here on Cryptomundo, as well as emails sent to him, regarding his thoughts on the Texas Bigfoot Expedition.

Hey Guys,
Jim again, I’ll be happy to address some of your questions the best I can, I would like to correct myself (and also apologize for a few spelling errors-lol), but the distance we were working with on the sighting was roughly 500 ‘FEET’, my bad.
I’ll also try to explain the lighting conditions a little better. It was dark while we were in the woods, as to look in front of one self you couldn’t see much at all, but the sky was lit to a almost deep purple, not terribly bright, you can also see the glow of the ‘big city’ of Paris in the distance, This combined with the frequent lightning made it easy for us all to see the silhouette, (we also got it on the thermal). At the time of this encounter, the rain had briefly stopped where we were, that’s why we started to move around a little more.
As far as the weather conditions, if this creature is out there, it is pinned by the weather at a time when it’s usually getting business done, do it stands to reason it will try to make up for lost time when the weather finally breaks, making it active, and hopefully a little distracted, and we had the chance to slip into place while our noise and scents were covered by the heavy rains, it sounds to me like a perfect plan, if you have the cajones.
I’m not trying to be mouthy when I say that, but what I’m getting at is not letting things stop you from doing the work, trying to meet the goal, taking the situation and making the best of it.
I’m willing to bet everybody who was out there came back with something a little more than their ideas of Bigfoot. Anyone who wanted a refund would have received one without question, nobody had to brave those elements, but they did, EVERYONE, Willingly, and they had a great time doing it, and that impresses the heck out of me! You can bet the survivor stories were circling the water cooler on Monday, probably Friday too-lol.
For me it was a chance to feel the adventure again, and work with some fellow Vets that felt the same way. It’s no poolside vacation, and its purpose is research and credibility, the latter will always be questioned no matter who does the work. All I can suggest is do what I do, Go Check it out for Yourself, we want to share our findings before they’re even found, come and see what we see, there’s nothing more you can offer a skeptic, take it from a skeptic.
The most frequently asked question I’ve received lately is, “Do you now believe in Bigfoot?” Well, honestly, I think there is something out there, what is it? I’m still going to need to look one in the eyes to figure it out, but I’m just like anybody, I don’t have the answers, and don’t pretend to, I’m just checking it out and telling ya what I see, you’ll never get more or less from me.
Thanks for all the well wishes and emails, I will do my best to return every one of them!
No matter what your opinion is, it’s pieces of the puzzles, keep thinking and keep questioning! Jim, Director- GSP
