As several of the readers here on Cryptomundo alluded to in the post about the latest trail cam photo of Bigfoot, the subject of the photo resembles the Phoenix Suns mascot.
The Suns were formed in 1968 when it was determined the citizens of Phoenix needed something to do other than complain about the weather. Soon after, the organization decided to hire a gorilla mascot because, as I’ve said many times, primate costumes will never go out of style.
Do gorilla costumes scare young children? You bet they do, but I say it’s worth the risk.

As a huge Dallas Mavericks fan, I have been watching the Western Conference Finals, and I have had nary a sighting of the Suns Gorilla. He has been as elusive as Bigfoot.
However, the Seattle SuperSonics’ mascot is Squatch.
Squatch’s cousin Slush, is the mascot for the Edmonton Rush Lacrosse mascot.
Looks like Slush has a way with the ladies…
And being a native of Dallas, I couldn’t help posting the photo of Slush with the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.
