Well, I attended the Bigfoot Festival last Saturday with a few other members of the TBRC, Texas Bigfoot Research Center. We arrived around 10 am for the event. There was a good turnout, they had over 500 people registered for the Bigfoot 5K run. I don’t know how many showed.
There were lots of Bigfoot signs up. There was a couple (as in male & female) dressed up in Bigfoot costumes posing for pictures with people. There was a photo op where up to 3 people could stick their faces in cut-outs to be portrayed as a Bigfoot family, $5 with their camera, $3 with yours.
There were arts & craft booths with a smattering of Bigfoot painted signs, candles & keychains. There was even a booth with Honobia Bigfoot bottled water. There was a hole in the label where you could look through, and if you were "a believer", you could see Bigfoot inside.
There was Bigfoot story-telling (eyewitnesses recounting their encounters, as well as others telling second- and third-hand accounts), live music (which pretty much drowned out the story-telling), a rock-throwing contest, pony rides, covered wagon rides, standard county fair events.
KFOR TV out of Oklahoma City was there to cover the event. Here is the link to the video on their website.
