“Seems To Be A Hoax, But It’s A Neat Video”

This video screamed hoax to me from the beginning, but I’m not one to dismiss anything outright without at least examining the evidence. Here are some frames from the video, enlarged and sharpened, just before the “creature” turns to run away [see below].
You can see, in my opinion, rather clearly in the second frame that the eyes appear to exhibit a mask effect of showing some skin around the eye of the person in the mask. On the other hand I suppose the mouth could possibly be opening, which would be difficult to achieve in a mask. No frames offered a more clear image of the creature than the two I enlarged here.
In my opinion it seems to be a hoax, but it’s a neat video anyway.

About Loren Coleman
Loren Coleman is one of the world’s leading cryptozoologists, some say “the” leading living cryptozoologist. Certainly, he is acknowledged as the current living American researcher and writer who has most popularized cryptozoology in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Starting his fieldwork and investigations in 1960, after traveling and trekking extensively in pursuit of cryptozoological mysteries, Coleman began writing to share his experiences in 1969. An honorary member of Ivan T. Sanderson’s Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in the 1970s, Coleman has been bestowed with similar honorary memberships of the North Idaho College Cryptozoology Club in 1983, and in subsequent years, that of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club, CryptoSafari International, and other international organizations. He was also a Life Member and Benefactor of the International Society of Cryptozoology (now-defunct).
Loren Coleman’s daily blog, as a member of the Cryptomundo Team, served as an ongoing avenue of communication for the ever-growing body of cryptozoo news from 2005 through 2013. He returned as an infrequent contributor beginning Halloween week of 2015.
Coleman is the founder in 2003, and current director of the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine.
Seems like we got ourselves one of the abominable members of KKK.
Is it fake? Yeah, but I’ll have to say it is a really cool and well done video. The eyes just do not look right to me.
I’m not sure about this one. If I had to pick a side, I’d say fake, but only because I don’t feel comfortable saying it’s 100% real.
You gotta run all of these you get; it hones analytical chops in a field that needs that.
That said: this one’s a prank. Who runs half a minute of a flashlight beam on the ground…then lifts it, with no cues, just in time? Then doesn’t even attempt to follow the fleeing figure, but offers the stagiest “what was that” you ever heard?
I’d have to declare shenanigans on this one. Seems that a white bigfoot would have been spotted by now in PA, but I guess you never know. Could be like the artic fox that changes its coat color seasonally.. Hmm.. I want to believe, but think we’re being suckered.. 🙁
I believe that videos like this present the cultural impact Bigfoot has on our psyche. As long as these videos are labeled as hoaxes or entertainment, I see no reason to not post them on this blog.
I trust Loren to decide when a video might be real, and when it is obviously a hoax.
