12 years ago this month, the scientific community lost a great man.
Dr. Grover S. Krantz, a professor of anthropology at Washington State University, started his study of Bigfoot in 1963. After examining Bigfoot footprint casts he became convinced that Bigfoot is a real flesh and blood creature.
As a professor of anthropology, his specialty was human evolution and he wrote ten books on that topic, plus sixty academic articles.
He received a lot of criticism for his beliefs about Sasquatch, yet continued steadfastly to study available evidence and to speak publicly at Bigfoot conferences. At the time of his early research he was the only professional scientist willing to speak out in favor of a belief in Sasquatch.
Dr. Krantz passed away on February 14, 2002
