Man v. Monster: Nat Geo Wild

I’m not able to find much information on this new series airing on Nat Geo Wild.

It appears to have premiered on May 30 and new episodes air on Monday nights.

Tales abound in every corner of the world telling of creatures that are rumored to feed on human flesh, drag swimmers to their deaths, or swoop down from the sky to take us off in their clutches.

On their face, these stories appear to be the very definition of urban legend — except for the eyewitness accounts, victim testimony, or visual evidence that appear to prove the contrary. Are they myths? Or could these monsters be real?

That’s what adventurer and cinematographer Richard Terry wants to know. Over the course of his 20-year-career as a cameraman, Richard has confronted nature as few others have dared. He’s braved some of the world’s harshest environments and lived alongside its most dangerous creatures. In this gritty, riveting new series for Nat Geo Wild, he takes on a new quest: to tackle the legends and unearth the truths about some of the least encountered and most feared species that exist in the wild. In the end, will he find these animals to be worthy of their terrifying reputations?Optomen Television
